Meet Sal Tirrito

We recently connected with Sal Tirrito and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Sal with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I grew up in Brooklyn. My grandparents were very poor. My parents wanted a better life for us, so we moved out to Long Island and I was taught that you had to work hard if you wanted to succeed.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
We built Tirrito Farm as a destination for people to come and enjoy nature, learn about conservation, and enjoy good food and drink. We tried to have something for everyone. It is still a work in progress, and we are always looking to see how we can make our customers’ experience more enjoyable.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Owning a business with many different parts to it is difficult. It is easy to just focus on the big picture and forget about the details. However, the details are extremely important so don’t lose sight of that

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We really like to work with the local community and want to be more awareness to the beauty of Southern Arizona.
