Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samantha Agostino. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Samantha, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
Life has been quite the journey, taking me down paths I never expected. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that resilience isn’t about knowing exactly where the road leads—it’s about taking one step at a time, even when the way forward feels uncertain.
One of the biggest turning points in my life was my divorce. Suddenly, I had to redefine who I was, not just for myself, but for my two daughters. I had spent so much of my life being part of something that, when it ended, I felt lost. Who was I now? What kind of mother, woman, and person did I want to become?
The questions were overwhelming at first, and there were days when the weight of it all felt unbearable. But instead of trying to map out my entire future at once, I focused on the next step—the small, intentional choices that would lead me toward the life I wanted. I chose to embrace growth, to find strength in the struggle, and to become someone my daughters could look up to.
Through it all, my “why” became my anchor. My daughters were watching me, learning from me, and I wanted to show them what it means to rise after falling, to rebuild with grace and determination. They reminded me that resilience isn’t about never facing hardship—it’s about how we choose to move forward despite it.
So, when I look back at my journey, I see resilience not as something I was simply born with, but as something I built—step by step, moment by moment, with love, courage, and a deep sense of purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a licensed aesthetician and celebrity bridal makeup artist with over a decade of experience in both skincare and makeup. For the past 10+ years, I’ve dedicated my craft to helping women—especially brides—feel confident, radiant, and beautiful, inside and out. Whether I’m perfecting a bridal look or guiding a skincare routine, my purpose has always been clear: to help women look and feel their absolute best.
That passion led me to create B-Esti Skincare. I’ve always believed that great makeup starts with great skin. Through years of working closely with brides, I developed a skincare-before-makeup approach—because when the skin is healthy, hydrated, and glowing, everything else falls into place. B-Esti Skincare was born from that belief, and from my commitment to giving women the tools they need to glow from the inside out.
What makes B-Esti special is that it’s not just about products—it’s about empowerment. I’ve poured my knowledge, my experience, and my heart into creating formulas that prep and pamper the skin, while also boosting confidence. This brand is my love letter to every woman who wants to feel radiant, celebrated, and beautiful in her own skin.
Looking ahead, my goal is to take B-Esti Skincare to a global level. I believe that women and brides around the world deserve to feel confident, beautiful, and seen—no matter where they are. I want B-Esti to be part of that moment for them, whether it’s a wedding day, a special event, or simply a daily ritual of self-love.
This is just the beginning. I’m so excited for what’s next and can’t wait to continue sharing B-Esti with the world—because every woman deserves to glow.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, I’d say the three things that have really shaped my journey are resilience, being intentional, and building real connections.
Resilience was huge. Things don’t always go the way you plan—especially in this industry. Whether it was a last-minute change with a bride, a product delay, or just trying to grow a business while figuring it all out—I had to learn to bounce back quickly, keep moving, and trust that I was building something meaningful, even when things felt uncertain.
Intentionality has been my compass. I’ve never wanted to just do things for the sake of doing them. Whether I’m doing makeup, formulating skincare, or posting something online—I always try to ask myself, what’s the purpose behind this? That kind of clarity keeps me grounded and helps me stay aligned with what I really want to build.
And then there’s connection—probably my favorite part. Connecting with brides, with clients, with people who use B-Esti—it’s everything. I want everyone I work with to feel seen, heard, and taken care of. That’s what people remember. You can be talented, but if people feel good around you, that’s what creates loyalty and trust.
If you’re just starting out, my advice is:
– Don’t be afraid to mess up. That’s where your resilience gets built.
– Know your “why.” Let that guide your decisions.
– Lead with heart. Build real relationships, not just a following.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
One book that really stuck with me is The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I picked it up when I was feeling a little burnt out—juggling motherhood, my business, and just life in general—and it gave me such a fresh perspective. What I loved most is that it wasn’t about chasing some huge, dramatic change. It was about making small, meaningful shifts in your everyday life to create more joy and intention. That really resonated with me.
One of the quotes that hit me the hardest was: “The days are long, but the years are short.” Whew. That one stopped me in my tracks. It reminded me to slow down, to be present, and to find happiness in the little moments—because they pass by so fast, especially as a mom and a business owner.
She also talks about the importance of being yourself—like, truly leaning into who you are. She calls it “Be Gretchen,” I realized the more I stayed true to myself—in my work, my brand, my relationships—the more aligned and fulfilled I felt.
It’s not a flashy or preachy book—it’s honest, relatable, and practical. And it reminded me that happiness isn’t a destination—it’s something you create, one intentional step at a time.
