Meet Samantha Araujo Harding

We recently connected with Samantha Araujo Harding and have shared our conversation below.

Samantha, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
I was brought up in a very hard working family where mum and dad were always working and saving but somehow found time and ways to help others. With this upbringing, it has given me the value of generosity from ever since I can remember. I believe that the more you give, the more the universe provides back to you. If you do this with the intention of helping others and not expecting anything in return, if you just give to get back then there is no intention involved. I believe that to get what you want in life you must help others get what they want too, it’s a high frequency of good acts which takes you closer to what you desire.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I started my brand in my early 20’s when I was still in fashion school because I could not find any bikinis I liked to surf in. From there my whole love for business just sprouted.. Today I have a few brands and other companies. I feel that the more I take on the more challenges life gives me the happier I am. My first company is my passion Sahar by Samantha Harding. My other brands are sub brands to this brand & I have another company in events, I believe we have to do everything that makes us excited to wake up each morning. During COVID I was able to take out of the ideas and actually implant which is the social projects within Sahar, Project Mar where a part of the profit is donated the the surf school Gloria in Arpoador – Rio de Janeiro & project Movimento where part of the sales is donated to the BJJ athlete we sponsor. If you want to learn more just check out our website.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say my main skill/quality is empathy, I’m very empathetic to the next. I will always go out of my way to help others in what they need without expecting anything back, that is why I have accomplished so much at a young age of 32. As I mentioned before I believe that when we help others conquer what they want, the universe serves us what we want.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Principles by Ray Dalios is a book I suggest to all of my clients and friends, When Im coach upcoming designers or business people this is the must read for them.
