Meet Samantha Saenz

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samantha Saenz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Samantha, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was little, yet I had no idea how to make money writing besides being a journalist or writing for a newspaper.

Growing up, I told my parents about my dream to be a published writer and their reaction was for me to find something else, as I would “never make any money.”

But I didn’t listen. And I didn’t give up.

I graduated with a degree in Psychology and began exploring career paths until I discovered Copywriting. Then, I developed my writing skills until I became a copywriter and now work as a UX Content Strategist during the day, and write about food and travel at night.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My website & social media business mission is to improve the internet! The quality of your website and social media channels directly affects a business’s user experience and, ultimately, its sales and bottom line. My 10+ years of professional web design and content strategy expertise help companies to make their websites more efficient.

My mission for my travel blog is to help people eat well and travel often, hence the name. I enjoy finding things to do that are worth the money and places to eat in South Florida and beyond.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. I didn’t listen to the naysayers. 2. I constantly looked for ways to improve my skill set.
3. I learned the fundamentals of my craft and memorized them.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
For my web design/ content business, I’m looking to work with clients who want to improve their website, sales, and essentially, their bottom line. As far as my food & travel blog, I’m looking to work with businesses and brands who are looking for brand awareness and growth. Anyone interested in either can email me directly.
