Meet Sarah Cucuzzella

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarah Cucuzzella. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarah below.

Sarah, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I grew up in a single-parent home with my mum and two sisters after losing my dad when I was seven. My mum definitely instilled my work ethic – she taught me to have my own back and to always walk away from anything that doesn’t serve me. That turned into independence and drive… probably why I’m such a workaholic now, thanks Mum. I’ve realized happiness hits different when you’ve worked for it. If it’s handed to me, it doesn’t feel the same. The longer it takes, the better the reward. No one did it for me, but I’ve been lucky to have support along the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Aussie FIT™ is all about authenticity and connection. It’s about finding clients who truly align with the energy of the brand. I’ve been a trainer since 2005, and following my heart has always worked for me. Most of my growth has come from real conversations and word of mouth. Giving out merch, connecting face-to-face, building trust – that’s what makes it special. Aussie FIT™ keeps growing because it’s real, and people feel that energy.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Consistency, curiosity, and connection. I come from a personal training and health background, not theatre, and that shaped everything I do. I studied nursing before moving to New York and I’ve kept learning ever since – behavioral change, women’s health, anything that helps me serve my clients better. I keep evolving so my clients can too. Know your niche, stay curious, and care about people. That’s what makes you stand out.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

I’ve got a tattoo that says “Live every day as if it were your last,” and I mean it. My dad passed when he was 37, so I’ve always known life’s short. I’m not a five-year-plan kind of girl – I live in the moment but plan for tomorrow. I’d keep doing exactly what I’m doing now: working hard, traveling, creating experiences, and surrounding myself with people who make me feel alive. I always need something to look forward to – that’s what keeps me excited. If I’m not happy, I change it. I want my heart to feel full, my energy to stay high, and my dreams to keep getting bigger. That’s the goal!
