Sarah, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
I still struggle with imposter syndrome. Know matter how successful I become I still am striving for more and don’t always recognize my progress or success. I’ve had to learn to sit back and reflect on the work I have done and be grateful and proud of it. I’m so focused on what comes next that I can totally just feel as if the success I have had isn’t significant.. What I try to do is sit back and really be grateful and proud of the journey where I am today and it has helped me stand tall in my career.

My goal when starting this company was to help woman and men feel great in their skin and to be able to treat their skin with high end treatments at home.
As a young, working mom I remember feeling like I never had any time for myself to do self-care or the funds to go out and get facials regularly. So I started this kit where you can do facials at home on your time and way cheaper.
What’s exciting about this is the clientele I have gained. They really feel like friends, we are always chatting and I love hearing their reviews on how this system has not only helped their skin but their confidence and overall well-being. Not only is this for beauty but it helps with your health as well.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities I feel helped me grow in this is being determined, confident and passionate. I was so determined and sure that this would work when I decided to launch this company. You really have to be able to silence the outside noise because no one is going to believe in you the way you will be able to in yourself. When success comes it’s a little pat in the back for the hard work you have put in. The best way to stay determined and confident is to read motivational books and stay laser focused on the plan. Passion comes from within and if you are looking to start a business there is a high chance you are passionate about what your starting to do.
Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
When I first started my company I listened to 12 months to one million by Ryan Daniel Moran on audible. Everyday I would play a chapter or two when I was on the treadmill. Creating a e-commerce website this is the best thing I could’ve done, so inspiring and really maps out your next steps. My favorite take away was the equation that is you have 5 products priced at $30 that sell 25 times a day, you will have a million dollar business in a year. I created my Royal Flush Collection which is 6 products just to be safe I’d hit my goal but, I used this method to grow!
