We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarah Salone. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarah below.
Hi Sarah, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
My confidence and self-esteem and confidence came one year after going into a very deep depression in 2022. Many times I wear a mask, covering the true feelings that I continue to hold inside. Each day that God’s will is placed upon me is a blessing and reminder of my “why” I’m still here. I come from a strong family dynamic based on Faith. Those were the key components that were instilled in me.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I have been in the nursing profession for 13 years, (9 years a Registered Nurse and 4 Years a Nurse Practitioner). My background consists of women’s health urgent care, and Family Practice experience. I’m currently in my final year of doctoral school (DNP). Women’s health is my passion. As a practitioner, I love ministering to women about emotional health, reproductive health, and sexual health which are key factors that are not discussed enough.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Knowing your passion, never stop learning and receiving certifications, and keeping a strong foundation/faith.
God is in control of everything. Just because one person may say no doesn’t mean that’s the final stop. Follow the route according to God’s plan until you reach the finish line.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
