Meet Sarah Tuck

We were lucky to catch up with Sarah Tuck recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sarah, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
First and foremost, I was given my resilience from God. By being humble, praying and being obedient to his word; by doing this he has given me the opportunity to grow into what he already knew I would become. Once I prayed for seven years for him to show me my purpose for being here. I then waited and listened for his command to carry out his will, not mine alone. It was like he awakened, a sleeping desire and gift within me. Something I didn’t know that I had until I heard the voice say, “It’s your time to step out.” This was God’s voice telling me to move and move swiftly into the path that I have created for you to move in, and you will see why, I waited until now to awaken your gift I gave you to Bless others with. Since then, I have done this according to his word and have been walking in his footsteps. He has shown me skills that I haven’t used in a while such as my voice to sing. Music used to be my passion when I was in chorus in High School and singing in my church choir. Then when I wasn’t able to use it like God wanted me too, I slowly drifted away from using it as much. Until one of the cast members saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. A gift that was waiting to be released once again, but this time into the professional music world of music. A milestone will soon be reached by the first of the year, about the release of my very first Album. This Album I’m making is to be used to incorporate into my Plays and Movies. I’m truly grateful for the gifts God has given me and the path he chose for me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Not to mention to be careful in making future decisions for your life expansion.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
First of all, never give up, even when the roads get rough and the going gets tough. Remember, you still have some fight in you.

Take the time to meditate, listen, ponder on what you are doing and then proceed to make your goal come true.

You have to believe in what you are doing and have faith in what you are doing. Because if God will lead you to it, believe him, he’s going to bring you through it.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My parents were behind me in whatever I chose to do, and they believed in the ability that I had in doing it. My mother was always there for me when my father had to work. It wasn’t because I was better than my other siblings. It was because they saw something in me that made me stand out more. The will and determination of doing things. This is why they stood up for me and knew that one day I would be that person to branch out into the world more. We all have a different path that we are living. This is the path that God had for me, and I feel I need to finish it with continuing to be obedient and hold my head up, to Honor him and my late parents.
