We were lucky to catch up with Sardia Robinson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Sardia with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Growing up with my grandmother, aunts, and great-grandaunts, I believe I developed a strong work ethic at an early age, likely influenced by them.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a writer, actress, and producer who loves telling stories that resonates with the audience. It’s truly exhilarating for me.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that had the greatest impact on my journey were tenacity, ambition, and communication. My advice to anyone starting out now would be to not give up, stay focused, and put in the work.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most influential aspect of my upbringing was my parents’ decision to part ways. My dad left when I was two, and my mom followed suit when I was ten. Although it initially had a profound impact on me during my formative years, as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to see their departure as the most beneficial thing they could have done for me. It played a crucial role in shaping me into a better human being.
