We recently connected with Sauram R T and have shared our conversation below.
Sauram, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose by noticing what consistently made me feel most alive, storytelling, human connection, and creating things with meaning. Acting allowed me to explore human emotions and share stories that resonate across cultures, while founding “Naarie”, my wellness and lifestyle business, and bringing it to spaces like the Malibu Farmers Market showed me how creation can also be healing, grounding, and personal. Today, my purpose is to bridge art and wellness, using creativity and intention to uplift people, whether through a performance on screen or through Naarie’s handmade offerings shared directly with the community

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m an actor and the founder of “Naarie”, a wellness and lifestyle brand rooted in intention, craftsmanship, and spiritual connection. Coming from Nepal, a deeply spiritual country where mindfulness and ritual are part of everyday life, I grew up valuing presence, simplicity, and inner awareness. As an actor, I’m drawn to stories that explore human emotion and cross-cultural experiences, and I find it most exciting when a role allows me to connect authentically with audiences on an emotional level.
Naarie was born from that same spiritual foundation. The brand offers handmade wellness products such as soaps, crystal bracelets, and perfume rollers, many of which are partially made in Nepal and spiritually blessed. What makes Naarie special is the intention behind every product; each item is created not just to be used, but to be felt. Sharing Naarie directly with people at places like the Malibu Farmers Market has been especially meaningful, allowing for genuine, face-to-face connection and community building.
Currently, I’m focused on growing Naarie through local markets in Los Angeles while expanding its online presence, alongside continuing my work as an actor. In both paths, my goal remains the same: to blend creativity, spirituality, and human connection, whether through storytelling on screen or through mindful creations shared with others.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, self-awareness, and compassion.
Resilience came from going through many ups and downs in life, across different countries and industries. Learning to keep moving forward despite uncertainty taught me patience and strength. For those early in their journey, my advice is to view setbacks as part of the process, growth often happens quietly during the hardest moments.
Self-awareness helped me understand what truly matters to me. Through reflection, spirituality, and lived experience, I realized that peace of mind is something everyone seeks. Developing self-awareness through mindfulness, journaling, or simply taking time to pause can help people make more aligned decisions.
Compassion shaped the way I approach both acting and entrepreneurship. In acting, it allows me to understand and reflect human experiences honestly. Through Naarie, it guides me to create wellness products with intention and care. For those starting out, leading with empathy toward yourself and others, will naturally deepen your work and its impact.
Together, these qualities didn’t just shape my career; they helped me find purpose in creating work that brings connection, healing, and meaning.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I’m always open to meaningful collaborations that align with my purpose. Since my work, both through Naarie and acting, is focused on helping people find inner peace, I’m especially interested in partnering with wellness practitioners, creators, or local businesses who share a focus on mindfulness, sustainability, and community. In acting, I’m open to collaborating with storytellers, filmmakers, and artists who are passionate about human experiences and cross-cultural narratives.
I want to expand this work and reach more people, so if you’re interested in collaborating, I’d love to connect, please reach out via my website www.sauram.com
