Meet Scott Knudsen

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Scott Knudsen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Scott , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism comes from life lessons watching people ahead of me within my family and mentors watching my wife and now my daughter. It is so much harder to live life in a negative manner even when everything is coming against you that has to be optimistic. I’ve experienced so many failures and business, but that made me stronger and smarter and the way I conducted myself I’ve had so many injuries over 60 broken bones been dead three times among many other issues that makes me optimistic and hopeful for the second and then from there, and after every setback, the comeback is always so much stronger and that’s where the testimony comes from and hopefully it inspires others so they can do their part inspire others

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Very humbly, I say everything that I do in my life now came organically. I worked really hard and did accomplished the goals that I set out for myself, but becoming a speaker riding a book writing for a magazine acting, and still getting to be a Cowboys or something that happened organically I kept saying yes. That is the key to anything I do besides my Faith is saying yes, the first time I was asked to speak I was scared to death, but I said yes the first time I was asked to take a step after broken back I said yes the first time I was asked to read after being hit the head by lightning I said yes once you say yes and you take that first step the next steps always seems easier And then with the moment you don’t wanna stop. That is where I am. I don’t wanna stop I wanna keep going goals while enjoying my life. The people I get to work with from the arena to the pasture all the Cowboys and cowgirls to the different actors and producers on set is amazing but everyone Has a heart of gold and I love it the more opportunities equal more relationships which just makes me stronger and I appreciate everyone when I get to work with so much The name of our ranches Knudsen Equine Center because I trained Horses after we were hitting the head by lightning and my family was hit. I had to learn to read and ride again. I had to learn to do everything again so as opposed to be in worried or sad or scared I embraced it. My wife became my teacher. I got to learn with my daughter, and we change the name of the ranch to the Latin K Ranch for lightning Knudsen Ranch and we want to create that big negative as really huge positive to share that when something happens out it’s not your fault or anyone’s fault that people can get over it because if I can get over it, I know whoever is reading or listening to this article. Sure get over it.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My three most important qualities is knowing that I make a lot of mistakes and accepting it, but learning from them and overcoming them no one lives a perfect life. Well only one person, but I sure haven’t, but I’ve tried. I’ve learned from my mistakes. The second all can be for my family and friends and read my books watch our podcast. Sira shows to hopefully inspire them to get through their day but through their week and their life and such a more impactful way in the third is just getting up. I’ve been thrown off of a bowl, etc. I’ve been knocked out at work. There’s been so many things that come against you every day. The as get up to get back on and take that ride and say yes.

Yes, I’m always looking for that. When we started the Cowboy entrepreneur Foundation we wanted to do even more than just talk about it so we took action and we grew that and we created more relationships and partners with people wanting to get involved with the foundation to Cowboy and put in contact with the executive Director and help us help the western industry in the western lifestyle to help other families who lost the loved one and it needs a little bit of help in the western Rodeo ranching industry like I said, I’ve been dead three times and put out of work a lot there for me.
