We were lucky to catch up with Scott Sayre recently and have shared our conversation below.
Scott, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
It’s a little like saying you have a point you want to get to, and each time you take an action you move 1/2 the remaining distance between you and that point. You never really get there but you make a gradual approximation and get awfully close.
I am Love.
That’s the 1/2 I’m at now. It’s really a statement about all of us because I believe that Love animates this universe More to come, or maybe I’ve really found it.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I have had to heal from devastating childhood wounds. I am healed, but really like the gradual approximation, I can’t really be healed unless others are healed as well. I am not a solitary boat upon the ocean. Love is the ocean upon which we set sail, and I have been gifted with the ability to see into a person wounded space, and use any number of healing modalities to address that wound. The whole of what I do aims at integration, of woundedness and hope, of anxiety and calm, of body and spirit.
I studied with some masters in using food as medicine, and in a type of healing practice that I learned from a trusted friend and mentor.
We are whole people who can get fractionated by this society’s demands of speed, sacrifice, work and overwork, of alienating identities, of wrong and right, of judgement, and a wide list of impossibles.
I see you whole and work toward your self-sign seeing the same thing. The genius that is you is what I treasure and seek to release!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I have been gifted with a devastating history, from which I needed to heal by using:
Love
Self-Awareness
Healing energies within food, and a willingness to envision myself and others whole.
The Course In Miracles is helpful as is spiritual teachers like Marianne Williamson, Neal Donald Walsh, Wayne Dwyer..
Find what you love and move the mountains that seem to stand in the way of your living that love.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I love all people. Because that’s my nature. I love to collaborate as I believe that working together amplifies the love inherent in connection.
That said, I look forward to meeting people who help others to a new level of freedom.
I love music, food, ideas, and great conversation; I look forward to collaborating with someone or ones who love life, who enjoy the give and take of working together, who loves to take a challenge and make it into an opportunity. I am not amazing at sales yet, so I welcome someone who is talented in selling with a spiritual framework, who can take a vision and make it appealing to the right audience, I call that a tribe (from Jeff Godin’s book called, “This Is Marketing.”
Open to explore trades, and seeing what we can make to create a better, more merciful, and sweet world.
