We were lucky to catch up with Sean Carline recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sean, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
For me, finding my purpose wasn’t some lightning-bolt moment. It was more like a breadcrumb trail — each step shaped by creativity, curiosity, and a deep pull to build something meaningful, something real. Art, painting, and graphic design were my first real tools of expression. I used to get lost in sketchbooks, experimenting with colors, shapes, and layouts before I even had the words to explain why. It was my therapy, my outlet — a way to process the world around me and give form to what I felt inside. That foundation evolved into digital design and visual storytelling. I started creating graphics, logos, album covers, and eventually picked up a camera, realizing photography was just another canvas. Launching OneLove Photographics came naturally. It wasn’t just about capturing people — it was about capturing energy, intention, and the essence of a moment. I expanded into shooting events, portraits, weddings, and real estate, blending artistry with professionalism. But even then, I knew I was building toward something deeper. That “something deeper” showed up in the form of digital products — my Digital Backdrop store on Etsy gave other creatives the tools to elevate their work, no matter their budget or location. That lit a fire: I could create products that empowered people, and that didn’t rely on trading hours for dollars. That was big. The Nature Wear Brand came next — inspired by my love for the Earth, my metaphysical studies, and my drive to bring sacred messages into everyday life. Nature Wear isn’t just fashion — it’s storytelling. It honors indigenous wisdom, sacred geometry, and our connection to the planet, while still speaking the language of the street.
Through all this, I connected with Sevan Bomar and became a core part of the Secret Energy movement, working on everything from support systems to sovereignty-based mentorships. That work expanded my purpose: from self-expression to service, from business to mission.
Now, I see clearly — I was meant to create things that help people see themselves, remember who they are, and awaken their own path. My purpose lives at the intersection of creativity, consciousness, and community. And every brand, product, and project I launch is just another brushstroke on that bigger canvas.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m Sean Carline — an artist, entrepreneur, photographer, and visionary builder of brands that fuse creativity, culture, and consciousness.
My journey started with art. As a kid, I was always sketching, painting, and exploring visual storytelling through graffiti, street art, and graphic design. Art gave me a way to process the world — it was how I navigated both the beauty and the chaos. Over time, that visual language turned digital, and I began designing album covers, flyers, and branding materials for local artists and businesses. That naturally led me to photography — where I found a whole new way to tell stories.
I’ve always had a camera on me — one of those little point-and-shoots, nothing fancy. I didn’t think much of it at the time. I just liked capturing moments, mainly from hip hop events and breakdancing competitions — stuff most people overlooked. But looking back, that was my eye developing. I just didn’t realize it yet. One day, a friend saw some of my shots and said, “You’ve got a good eye, man — you ever thought about getting a real camera?” That moment stuck with me. I started researching gear, learning how to shoot manually, and investing in myself. That’s when everything changed — the camera became an extension of how I see the world.
That’s when I launched OneLove Photographics, a full-service photography business that now spans over a decade. I shoot everything from headshots, concerts and weddings to commercial real estate, events, food, and creative editorial sessions. But more than the technical side, it’s always been about capturing energy — the emotion, vibe, and story behind every moment. I recently started incorporating 360° media and drone footage into my work, and have also been hired for Airbnb photography, product shoots, and brand campaigns. I treat photography like sacred work — it’s about preserving memory and amplifying the soul of whatever I’m documenting.
On the digital side, I’ve built websites and online experiences for other entrepreneurs, artists, and companies, handling everything from branding to backend setup. I’ve always been drawn to creating systems that empower people to build and scale what they love.
That’s what inspired Digibackdrop Studios — my digital backdrop store on Etsy. I realized there was a whole community of photographers, creators, gamers, streamers, and designers who needed professional, immersive backgrounds without having to rent studios or buy gear. So I started building themed backdrop packs — from celestial temples and old master studios to sci-fi worlds and neon cityscapes. They’re downloadable, easy to use, and have helped thousands of customers upgrade their content.
One of the things I’m proud of is the Entire Store Bundle, where customers can buy lifetime access to every backdrop I’ve ever made — plus all new ones I release. It’s not just about selling digital products — it’s about giving creatives tools to elevate their expression and save time.
But the venture that really taps into my soul is Nature Wear Brand.
Nature Wear is a conscious fashion brand that honors the Earth, sacred geometry, indigenous knowledge, and metaphysical principles — all through clean, wearable, street-ready apparel. I’m blending cultural storytelling with eco-awareness. These pieces speak to those who walk with intention — people who understand that what we wear reflects who we are.
We use 100% organic cotton and natural dye tones like sand, blush, lavender, and forest green. Each collection carries its own message. The Butterfly Garden collection celebrates rebirth and transformation. The upcoming EarthFlow Collection taps into the Earth’s frequency — the Schumann Resonance at 7.83 Hz — and features geometry, flow patterns, and styles inspired by both nature and futurism. I’m also exploring AR techwear concepts — pieces that bloom or animate in nature zones through augmented reality — something I believe is the future of cultural fashion.
Alongside all of this, I’ve been deeply involved in the Secret Energy platform for over a decade. Working with Sevan Bomar, I’ve held roles from Compliance Director to Chief of Operations, and helped shape sovereign education, support systems, and metaphysical tools for transformation. This work reminds me to always create from a place of truth, alignment, and service.
So what do I do? I build. I create. I help others express and awaken. Whether it’s through photography, digital tools, or wearable philosophy — it’s all connected by a single mission: to inspire remembrance. Of self. Of source. Of purpose.
Right now, I’m expanding my product lines, preparing for a wider launch of Nature Wear into select boutiques and sustainable marketplaces, and refining an AI-powered content creation system to streamline storytelling for my brands using platforms like Blaze.ai and Elementor Pro. I’m also exploring grant opportunities, NFT-integrated digital fashion, and more educational offerings for creatives who want to turn their gifts into income.
At the end of the day, I want people to feel that what I do is real, thoughtful, and rooted in something bigger than profit. I believe creativity is sacred. And I’m just here doing my part to bring that sacredness into the world — one product, photo, and project at a time.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three things stand out that made the biggest impact on my journey: Creative Vision, Self-Education, and Resilience.
1. Creative Vision
Being able to see what others might miss — whether it’s the composition of a photo, the potential in a blank hoodie, or how to turn a digital file into a full business — that’s what’s fueled everything I’ve built. I didn’t go to art school. I just kept creating, experimenting, and trusting my taste. My advice to anyone starting out is to honor your creative instincts. If something excites you visually, follow it. Build that eye. Practice seeing the world differently — that’s your edge.
2. Self-Education & Adaptability
I’m self-taught in almost everything I do — photography, graphic design, building websites, selling on Etsy, using AI, even running my own business. I’ve spent countless hours reading, watching tutorials, asking questions, breaking things and fixing them again. In this era, knowledge is everywhere — what’s rare is the discipline to chase it consistently. If you’re just starting, get hungry for learning. Don’t wait to be taught — teach yourself. You’ll be shocked how far that takes you.
3. Resilience
There’s no blueprint for building something original — you’ve got to be ready to fail forward, adapt, and keep going even when nobody’s clapping yet. I’ve had slow seasons. I’ve dealt with creative blocks, tech issues, orders gone wrong, and people doubting my path. But I never let those moments define me. The people who succeed aren’t the ones with the easiest path — they’re the ones who keep building, even in silence. My advice: fall in love with the process, not just the results. Show up for yourself every day. There were so many points along my path where I had to adapt or switch up on the fly — whether it was learning a new platform, shifting my business model, or moving into a new creative space altogether. The one thing that’s kept me grounded is knowing that I’m capable. I’ve never been afraid to start over or try something new, and that’s a mindset I encourage everyone to build. Reinvention isn’t failure — it’s growth. If you can stay fluid and fearless, you’ll never get stuck. You’ll evolve.
Personally I feel If you can develop these three — your vision, your drive to learn, and your resilience — you’ll be able to turn just about anything into something powerful and real.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely — I’m definitely looking to collaborate, especially in two key areas: Nature Wear Brand and photography/media production.
For Nature Wear Brand, I’m looking to connect with:
Designers, artists, and visual storytellers who are aligned with conscious culture, eco-awareness, indigenous symbolism, and nature-inspired fashion
Creators who understand how to embed meaning into wearable pieces — whether through illustration, typography, embroidery, or fabric manipulation
Marketing minds and brand builders who have experience growing lifestyle brands, especially in the wellness, streetwear, or eco-conscious space — people who know how to move energy through storytelling and aesthetics
Anyone with a love for biomimicry, sacred geometry, Earth tones, or the metaphysical — that’s the vibe
On the photography/media side, I’m looking to collaborate with:
Photographers, videographers, and editors who are interested in lifestyle content, high-frequency branding work, and next-level visuals
Creators who are comfortable in natural light, urban landscapes, or sacred spaces — and who want to co-create powerful visual narratives
