We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sean Cavanaugh. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sean below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Sean with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
After working in many different fields I can say that the offering massage is a rewarding profession. I use that board range of experience to make sure that Full Attention is always running smoothly and professionally.
The act of offering massage is inspirational, I get to help numerous people with their problems and be present for their recovery. Massage is peaceful and an essential service that many people rely on to resolve many problems in life.
It’s for those reasons that it is easy to be motivated to make sure my business stays afloat.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
We are here to try to fix people.
The business of massage is very straight forward as a profession. We are her to help. At its simplest massage might be a much needed nap, but for most of my clients I am here to solve a problem and help alleviate pain. It’s a simple job and the simplicity makes it very rewarding
The type of deep tissue massage that is practiced here is called myofacial therapy. Each therapist is offers a different perspective on this style of deep tissue massage. Full Attention is a place that focusses on bringing a broad range of advanced therapists together to work as a team to help you fix your bodies problems. We are all trained in the bodies anatomy as well as several modalities to give everyone the massage they personally need to accelerate their bodies recovery.
Recently we’ve added and esthetician to the team and are now offering custom facials. Our facials are designed to be custom for each client specific. We offer Image Skincare Procucts.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
As a business owner you get to work as much as you want to. This allows you to make sure that your business is exemplary in the hard work that doesn’t have a price.
Cleanliness: What the client sees is everything. I make sure that everything is clean, straightened and wiped down, The sheets are always fresh and the therapists are ready and motivated
Improving product: I am always searching for ways to make sure that the work here isn’t just he best but always getting better. I am always continuing training for the therapists, improving database and scheduling structures and finding ways to educate myself in better and better ways of running a business.
Each client is important: Every client that comes to this business is a priority, I make sure to treat each client as though the the experience is brand new and always important. Making sure that everyone who walks through the door leaves with a positive experience is a key to a smoothly run business
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
As a business owner I have two products and two types of clients. The first is obviously selling massage and honoring massage clients. But the second product I create is massage jobs. With that said that therapists that work here are also my clients. My goal is to make a place where the therapists can do their best work. By making this place a relaxed environment, by listening to their needs and making the responsibilities clear, every therapist is able to deliver the best massages they are capable of offering. So a happy employee is my best client and with this process every massage offered reaches the highest quality.
