Meet Sean Ingalsbe

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sean Ingalsbe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Sean, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

With Ghosted Forged, creativity isn’t something I leave to chance actually I treat it like R&D. I build time into my week to experiment with new ideas, whether that’s sketching out fresh spoke patterns, exploring horror culture, or pulling cues from motorsport design history. I’m constantly cross pollinating influences

one day it might be slasher movie poster typography, the next it’s a classic BBS race wheel. That fusion is what keeps the brand distinct.

I also operate with constraints, because boundaries actually push better output. If I tell myself ‘design a flat five-spoke with a weapon influence,’ that focused challenge sparks new directions. And most importantly, keeping the pipeline active ensures the creative fire doesn’t fade but it takes time to regroup. For me, Ghosted Forged is about engineering creativity into a system that’s not used to it

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I run Ghosted Forged, a forged wheel brand built around the collision of motorsport and horror culture. What I do is take something as functional and technical as a forged wheel and inject it with storytelling, attitude, and edge. These aren’t just wheels — they’re characters, they’re legends, they’re made to look like they belong on the track and in a horror film.

What excites me most is that no one else is really doing this. The wheel industry is flooded with safe, recycled designs. I wanted to carve out something different: flat, functional forged faces with real motorsport DNA — but with engravings, shapes, and influences pulled from slashers, monsters, and the darker side of pop culture. It’s about making something unforgettable, the kind of wheel that makes you do a double take.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding Ghosted Forged into both wheels and lifestyle. Like merch, future event tie-ins, all tied to the same horror-motorsport theme. We’ve got new designs inspired by cult horror icons. For me, it’s bigger than a product line, but it’s building a world where car culture and horror collide.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three things that mattered most for me were resilience, vision, and execution.

Resilience, because you’re gonna get mocked, you’re gonna get doubted, people are gonna tell you it won’t work. I got that nonstop, and I kept going anyway.

Vision, because you need a picture in your head of what you’re building that’s so strong it pulls you forward. For me, it was forged wheels that didn’t just look fast, they looked haunted, cursed, alive. That idea kept me moving when there was no money or support.

Execution, because ideas are nothing if you don’t ship them the render, the poster, the merch drop. Consistency is what separates the dreamers from the builders.

My advice is don’t wait for permission, don’t wait for perfect conditions. Just build, release, refine. Protect your vision, and outwork everybody. Setbacks are part of it and that’s not failure.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Would love to work with the big writers and creators of real horror franchises and events, would love to contribute to haunted houses even and even racing, like I’d love to work with car companies, horror movie writers, film companies, haunted house companies, merch companies, you name it

So much options and things to do, they can hit me up directly at @ghosted.forged on Instagram.
