Meet Seaseasyd

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Seaseasyd. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with seaseasyd below.

Seaseasyd, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

When I was younger, I spent so much of my emotional energy trying to fit in.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Hmmmm hahah I’m always so bad at introducing myself. Usually I say something like, I’m syd and I like making creative media 🙂
Which does include a lot of different things. I love story telling and creating art that is timeless.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Hmmmmm YouTube, creative teams, and big dreams is the top three that comes to mind haha. My best advice is truly that anything is possible. The internet provides us with infinite resources to reach any goals we set. Also having good friends and healthy support systems is very important <3

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

You already KNOW I love collaborative work! Working with other creatives is probably my favorite part of any of the work I do. Working with others to turn a concept into a perceivable piece of media is the best feeling.
