Seon, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I would say my resilience came from me refusing to allow others to define my worth.
Often times we have high hopes and a vision God gave us and people enter our path that will try to kill the seed before it shoots.

I have encountered my fair share of that but have decided to refuse to rely on validation and stay my course. I cultivated this from turning rejection, hurt and loss into a lesson. I grew up in Jamaica in a crime riddled neighborhood that was looked down on. From a young age, I realized that surroundings are temporary but your resolve on the inside is what stands the test of time. Showing up as the authentic version of yourself in every environment is what brings out true resilience. For me early on, I came to find out that my faith and identity as a Child of God was my greatest asset.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I founded, FaithWalk Global: a Christ-Centered business whose mission is to empower women to reach their full potential. I provide mentorship to women regardless of their background/race or age. I make practical tools accessible to them through coaching, books, courses and events to build community. We also link them with E-Courses to start their entrepreneurial journey & catapult a shift in their mindset. I provide 1-1 Mindset Coaching Session for life and business goals. It’s called REWIRE TO PROSPER.

My brand has made recent strides in launching an online ministry for women called FaithWalk Girlies. The FaithWalk Girlies group has Weekly Bible Study, Prayers, Meetups and Faith Talks that prompt our members to grow in their relationship with God. This is something I had been doing unofficially via instagram for the past year,
however God prompted me to make it official. I’m so excited for what’s next!!
Our current members of our women’s ministry range from ages 18-55 and are at different stages in their Faith journey. They all have a hunger to build a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. We are currently accepting new members that have this desire as well! To join please visit the website below.

What I want the world to know about the brand FaithWalk Global, is that it is a testament that God can turn your pain into purpose. Through God’s grace we are on a mission to spread the gospel and speak life into women that have felt down trodden, emotionally abused or rejected. We will point them to Christ as their heavenly Father and remind them that they were created valuable, capable and are chosen.

This vision was God inspired and came forth through lots of prayer. I have learned to “Obey God Quickly” and designed a T-Shirt to encourage others to do so as well!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Adaptability, Obeying God & Being a Lifelong Learner.

In my entrepreneurial journey these 3 pillars are what have stopped me from quitting.
Submitting my ministry, business and obeying God along the journey has kept me from bring misdirected. Being adaptable is necessary to bring any Big Vision to Life. It is being humble enough to admit that you don’t have all the answers. Markets shift, economies shift and so must you. The key is to tune into the voice of God and stay informed on what the trends are in your industry so that your business is positioned at the forefront of the next wave. Don’t hop on the bandwagon, be one of the drivers.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always open to connect with like minded people that want to Collaborate and not Compete 👌
Ideally I would like to collaborate with more women and men of faith that are in ministry & the marketplace. Especially those with Health & Wellness backgrounds that are on a mission to help people live victoriously by elevating their mindset through biblical strategies.
Also in the worship music space I write gospel songs & am a Psalmist and desire to embrace this more in the new year.
