Serafina, thank you so much for making time for us today. We can’t wait to dive into your story and the lessons you’ve learned along the way, but maybe we can start with something foundational to your success. How have you gone about developing your ability to communicate effectively?

I developed my ability to communicate effectively through a combination of experience, self-awareness, and continuous learning. Early on in my career, I recognized that communication is the key to building strong relationships, whether with clients, colleagues, or partners. I learned that it’s not just about conveying information but also about listening to the needs, goals, and emotions of others.

A crucial turning point in my development was embracing active listening. By truly hearing what others are saying—not just waiting for my turn to speak—I’ve been able to understand their needs better and respond in a way that resonates. Over time, I learned that communication is as much about listening and empathy as it is about speaking clearly and confidently.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I remember sitting in a college class when the thought first crossed my mind: “Start a business.” I can still picture the professor, the weather, and the exact seat I chose. At the time, I brushed it off as just another fleeting idea, but the thought continued to come back—stronger and more persistent. I had it while I was working as a marketing manager for an award-winning auto group and later for the number one real estate agency in New Jersey. Eventually, opening my business felt as natural to me as breathing.

Today, I’m the proud owner and founder of 763 Digitally, a digital marketing collective based in New Jersey. We serve clients locally and internationally across a range of industries. Whether it’s photography, videography, graphic design, social media management, paid advertising, or website development, we offer comprehensive services to elevate our clients’ digital presence. Our most popular offering is our Social Media Concierge service, which bundles content creation and distribution. It ensure our clients get everything they need to succeed and bridges the gap between creating content and distributing it online – unlike other agencies.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Resilience has been a powerful presence in my life. The skill of being able to adapt, recover, and keep going after setbacks, both professionally and personally, has shaped not just my career but my perspective on success itself. It’s not about avoiding failure—it’s about learning from it and using those lessons to grow stronger. For those just starting their journey, I encourage you to embrace the inevitable hurdles as stepping stones. Progress often comes in small, incremental steps, and persistence is the key to turning effort into achievement. I resonate with the saying, “Money is the natural byproduct of continued excellence and perserverance in the face of challenges.”

Emotional intelligence (EQ) comes in second, playing a pivotal role in both my personal and professional life. While intellect is important, the ability to connect with others, understand their needs, and navigate relationships with empathy is what truly sets leaders apart. I find genuine happiness in helping my clients, colleagues, and partners. This quality has enabled me to lead with compassion, build meaningful relationships, and deeply impact other’s lives & businesses. While this comes naturally to me, I urge people early in their journey to consider what it would be like to be in your client or customer’s shoes.

Creative problem-solving allows me to succeed in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of digital marketing, I thrive in moments that demand innovative thinking. Whether creating fresh strategies for clients or facilitating collaborative relationships, I approach every challenge with curiosity. The ability to adapt and think outside of the box has been key to delivering standout results. I have honed the skill of creative problem-solving through experience in my business and less excitingly, games like chess and sudoku.
