Meet Shaakira Molisho

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shaakira Molisho. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Shaakira , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from my parents. I’ve watched them work hard and diligently towards their goals. Over the years, I’ve watched them both work multiple jobs while also maintaining a level headed household. Both of them have instilled in me the importance of hard work, dedication and going after your dreams.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a lifestyle content creator and nano influencer coach. I’m a wife and mother living in the Midwest. I love to share glimpses of motherhood, my lifestyle and how I’m making my house a home. I love teaching other creators how to do the same. Inspiring women to show up beautifully in their truth while juggling multiple hats is my thing.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most impactful skills I’ve acquired on my journey has been resilience, high work ethic and having an adaptive mindset. When the stakes are high I’m shooting for the stars and when the stakes are low, I’m going even harder after the things I want in life. That’s resilience to me. Having a good work ethic and an adaptive mindset goes hand in hand. Things change and you have to be willing to power through all the obstacles life throws at you. The only advice I have for those early in their careers is to bet on yourself, take calculated risks and always believe in your dreams.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
My biggest area of growth in the past 12 months has been viewing my content creator business as an actual company I’m building instead of a side hustle. I love my job and I’m thankful I get to wake up everyday and be creative. I didn’t see the biggest return on my investment or the knowledge I’ve gained over the years until I approached this opportunity like a business.
