Hi Shammi, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My journey as a professional hairstylist began doing the pandemic, where everything was closed and my kids and my husband needs to get their haircut done, and I start cutting their hair at home, and I started to like to do hair .

My journey started doing pandemic, I was always stay home mom, and I didn’t know that I’ll loving to do hair, until pandemic hits,
Where I can analyse my skills, love for hair .
I am the first person from my family to become a hair stylist,and I’m the first bangali Muslim hijabi, hair stylist in my community,

I graduated from cosmetology 2023, star working as an assistant right after my graduation, and now I’m an independent hairstylist.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, definitely invested in your self, educated yourself to educate your clients, and elevate.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

In my journey my husband and my kids is the biggest supporter, when I told my husband that I’m interested to join cosmetology,he change his schedule so he can drop the kids to school and pick them up, and and going to work it’s wasn’t easy but, we did it.

My husband is a business man, he thought me how to consistent with dedication and discipline, so much more that helped me going through my cosmetology career .
