Meet Shanae Cooper- Robinson

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Shanae Cooper- Robinson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Shanae below.

Hi Shanae, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Most definitely! I got my work ethic from my mom. Her strength knows no boundary and I have inherited that full- blown gene from her.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am an author and educator who wears many other hats that fit, to include but are not limited to: (an event planner, decorator, pastry chef). Executing my role as an educator means that I model my proclaimed title , the Generativity Strategist (GS). As the GS I pass on my knowledge and skills to different generations, in order to leave generational footprints. A day in my life as an educator/ teacher mentor is a compacted one. My line of duties range from training students for culinary art, speech and other extracurricular activities or competitions to doing empowerment workshops, speaking engagements for special events as well as model teaching for  aspiring and seasoned educators to promote 21st century skills and best practices in the education system.

Just like writing , I have a sweet spot for speaking, hence I am  often seen at schools, churches, summits, seminars, workshops, retreats, just to name a few,  offering public and motivational speaking on  topics like: the E-portfolio, From the Root to the Fruit, Monetizing ones Adversities , Generativity , Impact & Purpose, Using Education to Diminish the Severity of Poverty. My ideal audiences are educators, single parents, college, primary and high school children. As an author I am stimulated by my two most passionate cores, speaking and writing. I offer writing services, review books, write blogs for local and international writing communities. Like this interview, you will like my community even more , you can learn more on my website at www.shanaecooperrobinson.com . The most exciting part about doing what I do best is that I get the chance to leave an indelible mark that will transcend my time.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most pertinent qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful on my journey are: my work ethic, flexibility /versatility and ability to learn the norms of my environment in order to develop adaptability skills to thrive and cope. Every process takes time, with practice you will get there. Be open and receptive to positive changes.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parent(mom) did for me was giving me the opportunity to get a sound education ?
