Meet Sharon Jackson

We recently connected with Sharon Jackson and have shared our conversation below.

Sharon , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I believe I got my work ethic from my mother. She was a young mother , she had me at 16. As far back as I can remember, she’s always worked hard and I never lacked anything .

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a nurturer so I love taking care of people which helps in my PostOp business. Most of my clients just had surgery and they are in a lot of pain, I basically nurse them back to health. Comparing my clients from day one to after a week or two , gives me so much satisfaction. Most of the time they can’t walk really good and they’re in so much pain, by the time we’re at our last appointment, they are happy healthy and glowing . Getting your body back after kids are extreme weight loss is a great feeling.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Determination
Faith
Fearlessness

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When I feel overwhelmed I pray. I listen to Joyce Meyer, Rick Warren or Joel Olsteen. I read Bible plans and I just talk to God. I’ve been in some tough situations and when I look back, I know I only made it because of God
