Shaudy Prince talks about rebranding/revamping Hood Royalty Empire

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shaudy Prince. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Shaudy, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
I persist past the haters & nay sayers by using them as motivation (I used the word past because they get left behind EVERY TIME!). I mean it’s cool to have haters online just running their traps, but I had to deal with the worst kind of hater! The undercover ones who are your friends & your family members! It’s nothing like seeing the faces of those who claim to have been your day one’s, but really have been hating on you since day one…be having the doo doo face when they see nothing can stop you. Not even when they get their ugly behinds in the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am professionally focused on building an Empire that is a multi faceted structure of businesses that revolves around doing the things I love to do through various forms of creativity. I am currently in the process of revamping & rebranding Hood Royalty Empire LLC into a worldwide multimedia Enterprise. HRE started out as an independent record company who is now transforming itself into an independent powerhouse production company!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
3 qualities that helped me on my journey that I feel could possibly help others who are just beginning their own, or 3 skills to enhance that I think may help them improve their journey is reading, writing, and critical thinking. I believe they made schooling boring on purpose so you wouldn’t want to continue to use these skills when you’re sent out into the real world. What they don’t tell you is the learning never stops after you graduate!

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
The one who has been the most productive in helping build my production company & taking it to the next level is my younger sister Andra Jay. She’s the only person who has shown that she is here for the long haul, and the only person to have made it this far alongside me on this journey. Family & friends they ALL folded!…all except her so she will be the only one who reaps the benefits to come for staying consistent & persistent. Not just with her character, but her work ethic as well. I’m gonna make sure she is appreciated & valued as well as placed at the forefront of the brand.
