Meet shauna knapp

We recently connected with Shauna Knapp and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Shauna, so excited to have you with us today, particularly to get your insight on a topic that comes up constantly in the community – overcoming creativity blocks. Any thoughts you can share with us?

To overcome/beat creativity blocks aka writer block I normally set a small goal. I break down the writing task into smaller, manageable parts. Sometimes writing a single sentence or paragraph that help build momentum. Also sometimes I set a free writing timer. I set a timer for 10-15 minutes and write whatever comes to my mind without worrying about grammar or structure. It helps clear mental block. Another way is change in your environment, sometimes just a change in your scenery can stimulate creativity.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My name is Shauna Knapp and I am a music artist from Kansas City KS. I love making music because it not only helps me but helps my fans.
