Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shawn George. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Shawn, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose while in high school drawing designs on my friends shoes and creating shirts for myself. I noticed how passionate I was about fashion design and the compliments I got from my work and I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Lately I’ve been focused on growth in every aspect. I’ve professionally and creatively been trying to create fashion forward designs to gain more traction to get noticed. Fashion design is the only thing that excites me and is a career I’d never grow bored of.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The first most important quality to have from my experience is patience. Things rarely ever happen whenever you want them to, they happen when they’re supposed to. The second is dont be so hard on yourself. Do has much as you can then let the rest fall into place. And 3rd, be grateful for what you have and it’ll open doors for more.
