Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shawn Moss. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Shawn , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I wish I could say I always knew my purpose. But the truth is, I was just a girl from the South—raised in a single-parent home with very little, but holding onto dreams that were far too big for the space I grew up in. I went to college with a heart full of ambition but no clear direction. I thought maybe I’d figure it out there. After graduating college, getting married, starting a family – still, that deeper sense of purpose—of calling—hadn’t quite clicked.
But something was always anchoring me: my faith. Even when I didn’t know where I was going, I knew who I was holding on to. I found myself clinging more and more to prayer, to God, especially when life got heavy. And life did get heavy.
There were seasons of heartbreak—people walking out of my life without warning, others trying to diminish me or dismiss my worth. There were moments I felt unseen, unsupported, like I was breaking in silence. I remember praying, “God, I just need someone to help me through this.” And the stillness I heard back didn’t feel like silence—it felt like instruction.
Because that was the moment I realized: I was meant to be the help I longed for.
God used my pain to reveal my purpose. He allowed the breaking so I could become a bridge for others. I saw that my journey wasn’t just about surviving, it was about serving. I was called to reach, lead, and teach—to walk with people through their darkest valleys and help birth something new in their spirits.
I often say, I’m a spiritual midwife—helping others push through pain and into purpose. And I don’t take that lightly. It’s sacred work. It’s holy ground.
So no, I didn’t find my purpose overnight. I found it in pieces—through tears, prayers, setbacks, and breakthroughs. But every piece led me closer to who God created me to be. And now, I live to make sure others discover their purpose. One of the platforms I use is “The Bold Conference”. A highly anticipated conference for men, women and youth that began in 2023 in Metro Atlanta.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’ve had the joy and honor of serving in the nonprofit sector for many years now, and my journey has been deeply rooted in faith, family, and community impact. As a Pastor’s Wife, I serve alongside my husband, Apostle Dr. R. D. Moss. I serve as Executive Pastor of Point Of Grace Church, where I help lead and support initiatives that strengthen both our congregation and the broader community.
My passion for education and empowerment has also led me to work empower youth in the private school sector, summer camps and choirs. I’ve hosted numerous Women’s Empowerment and Girls Conferences over the years. Creating spaces where women and young girls can be uplifted, inspired, and equipped is truly at the heart of what I do.
I’m a preacher, speaker, as well as founder of LSM Global Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to “serving in the place of promise worldwide.” Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through faith-based outreach, education, and resources that support spiritual, personal, and community growth. Whether we’re hosting conferences, mentoring youth, or partnering on global initiatives, our goal is always to meet people where they are and help lead them into their God-given purpose. LSM Global is more than an organization—it’s a movement fueled by faith, compassion, and the belief that transformation happens when we serve with intention.
Most recently, I founded The Bold Conference, a movement that has grown into something incredibly meaningful. The Bold Conference is all about encouraging families to be bold and confident in their faith, family, and future. We dive deep into life-changing conversations that focus on spiritual growth, youth education, and practical life tools—with a clear call to action for each person to walk boldly in their purpose. We’re proud to be celebrating our third year this September—September 27, 2025—and I welcome everyone to learn more at eventcreate.com/e/bold.
Outside of ministry and community work, I’m also a singer. In 2022, I recorded and released my first single, “Deep Down In My Heart”, which was a dream come true and an expression of the joy and faith I carry within me. It is available on all music platforms. Lastly I am a published author, in books “Oily Tears”, “Perseverance Crossing the Finished Line”, Girls Journal “Pink Dreams Girl”, “Rooted & Grounded in Love, The Anthology”. All Available on Amazon and B&N online.
Above all, I’m most proud of being a wife and the mother of six amazing children. My family is my greatest blessing and the foundation that keeps me grounded and inspired.
Through every season of life and every role I step into, my mission remains the same: to encourage, uplift, and help others walk boldly with purpose. That’s why I’m the Faith Fueler, I help fuel your faith! Connect with me on social media or at LadyShawnMoss.com
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are reliability, consistency, and being faith-driven. Whether serving in ministry, education, or organizing events like The Bold Conference, I’ve found that showing up faithfully—time after time—builds trust, creates lasting impact, and allows people to see your heart over the long haul. My commitment to my faith has been the foundation that guides every step, every decision, and every connection I make.
My advice to those just starting out: be dependable, stay consistent, and let your God guide you. You don’t need to have it all figured out to make a difference. You can start by showing up, doing the work with excellence, and staying true to your values. Over time, those steady steps will lead to greater influence and open doors that you didn’t expect. Your faith, paired with dedication, will take you further than talent alone ever could.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, we are absolutely looking for passionate partners to collaborate with—especially for The Bold Conference for Families. Our heart this year is to make a BIG impact on youth by offering free tickets to 75 young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. We believe every student deserves access to powerful, faith-filled experiences that encourage them to be bold and confident about their faith, family, and future.
To make this possible, we’re seeking sponsors and community partners who share our vision and are willing to help us reach this goal. Whether you’re an individual, business, or organization, your support as a sponsor will directly impact youth and help us change lives.
If you’re interested in partnering with us, please email ladyshawnmoss@yahoo.com, visit bold25.eventbrite.com and click the “Sponsor” tab or Zelle your donation to ladyshawnmoss@yahoo.com. We’d love to connect and make a lasting impact—together.
