Meet Sierra Marque

We were lucky to catch up with Sierra Marque recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sierra, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

Growing up, my father was an entrepreneur, trying to make it in the business world, and no matter how many times he failed. He never gave up. This really did inspire me, my father is a major influence on me and my work ethic.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am the founder, CEO, and stylist of my brand StripperLookBook. Our goal is to inspire Exotic dancers on the latest trends and styles, and what to wear at gentlemen clubs. We also provide emotional support and advice to shine a light on what we do for work. Working in the strip club is often times judged, but there is a lot more to it than just dancing.
Not only do we offer styling and support, but we also have our very own boutique ( StripperLookBook.com ). We noticed that there was an issue in the industry, a pricing issue. So we saw after offering the lowest prices you could imagine for handmade dancewear. Where can range between $50 to over hundred dollars and with the economy, causing the plug to make less money? I think it is important to be able to feel comfortable spending money dancewear that actually makes sense. We are also big on recycling so we work as a thrift shop as well even more options for low priced dancewear. We are excited to continue working on our brand and we have so many exciting plans for it. Our goal is to design and a specific brand transition to luxury and limited edition

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I think some qualities and skills that really help me through my journey where my consistency my perfectionism. For me, it’s important that everything I work on comes out exactly how I want it to and how I envisioned it Otherwise, I will not launch it. I am also very consistent, I am consistently protecting my content and what I offer service wise. I will say in my life I’ve definitely had more fails than wins and for anyone who wants to grow their Instagram or in the business world, I urge you to never give up on your dreams and know that good things come to those that wait

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

My biggest area of growth and improvement in the past 12 months has definitely been my marketing strategies. I’ve learned that marketing is way more than just a picture and putting it in front of people, you have to speak to people in a way that they understand what you are offering and I feel like I’ve definitely mastered that.
