Meet Sophia Nicolas

We were lucky to catch up with Sophia Nicolas recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sophia, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?

My ability to take risks came from my curiosity and desire to push boundaries. I’ve always been drawn to exploring new ideas and stepping into roles that challenge me, even if they feel unfamiliar at first. Starting my own ventures and trusting my instincts in situations where there’s no clear path has taught me to see risks as opportunities for growth.

For me, it’s about creating something impactful and knowing that even if it doesn’t go as planned, I’ll find a way to make it work. Resilience and adaptability have been key—I’ve learned to embrace uncertainty and turn it into something meaningful.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m passionate about creating experiences that bring people together, whether through events, PR, or storytelling. My work is centered on collaboration and community-building, helping individuals and creatives thrive by providing spaces where they can truly shine. What excites me the most is the opportunity to transform ideas into something tangible and memorable—whether that’s through curating unique events, elevating brands, or telling stories that resonate.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities on my journey have been adaptability, creativity, and building authentic relationships.

Authentic relationships have been the foundation of my growth. Collaboration and community-building have taught me that success isn’t a solo journey—it’s about connecting with others in a genuine way. For those early in their journey, focus on building meaningful connections by showing up with honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to support others.

My advice? Stay curious, take risks, and remember that the path isn’t linear—every experience teaches you something valuable.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

bsolutely! Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m always looking to partner with individuals and brands who share a vision for creating meaningful, impactful experiences. I’m especially interested in working with creatives, entrepreneurs, and organizations focused on community-building, culture, and storytelling. Whether it’s crafting events, elevating brands, or developing unique campaigns, I’m excited to team up with people who value innovation and connection.
