Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Srishti Arora. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Srishti, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Being a graphic designer, creative block is totally normal. With so much competition out there, staying creative and evolving is key to standing out. To keep my creative juices flowing, I make an effort to continually learn from the design community and follow designers, artists, or creators I admire, and let their work inspire me.
Networking with people in the industry is also important. Talking to others who understand the challenges I face offers fresh perspectives and new techniques that I may not have thought of.
For me personally, engaging in something creative outside of work—like painting, writing, or even just being in nature—resets my mind and brings in new inspiration.
Lastly, working on passion projects—I cannot emphasise on this enough! Working on them has helped me immensely and allowed me to explore my design boundaries, helping me be creative while experimenting with ideas that excite me!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’ve always had a passion for design, and I’m fortunate to have turned that passion into a fulfilling career. As a graphic designer with almost a decade of experience, I specialise in branding, packaging design, and social media branding. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of businesses across industries like consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, health & wellness, non-profits, and creative entrepreneurs.
I love the challenge of working with professionals from so many different industries and help them stand out within their domain. What excites me most about my work is the ability to bring a brand’s vision to life, transforming their ideas into something tangible and impactful. It’s incredibly rewarding to help turn someone’s dream into reality through thoughtful, creative and strategic design.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Throughout my journey, a disciplined work ethic and the ability to set clear goals have been pivotal in driving my growth. While goals naturally evolve over time, having a direction to work toward provides clarity and motivation.
2. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of persistence; challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but they often lead to unexpected opportunities and learnings.
3. Above all, I’ve found that maintaining a sense of gratitude has helped me stay grounded and open to new experiences, enriching both my personal and professional growth.
My advice to designers who are early in their journey is to invest time in mastering the basics—whether it’s the principles of design or the core skills in your field. There are countless resources available to help you improve, so be proactive in honing your craft and skill up!

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
“The Midnight Library by Matt Haig” had a profound impact on my perspective about life and choices. The book taught me that our lives are filled with infinite possibilities, and each decision opens a different path.
It beautifully delivers the idea that there’s no perfect life, but only the one we choose to create, no matter the circumstances; and to make the most of what we have in the present moment is the way to be.
This realisation has encouraged me to approach life with more gratitude, to embrace uncertainty, and to trust that the journey I’m on is the one that’s right for me. I wish I could read this book all over again, for the first time!
