Meet Stacey Prado

We were lucky to catch up with Stacey Prado recently and have shared our conversation below.

Stacey , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose once I started to develop a stronger relationship with God. When I was younger, I wanted to experience life and made mistakes along the way. Through trial and error, I prayed that God would open my path to where I belong. I prayed for a talented, knowledgeable, respectable team, to make better music and eventually I met K-Fisher, owner of REEL Music and have been fortunate to continue my journey with like-minded people who believed in me to create positive and meaningful music that helped me grow and change my perspective on life.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Stacey Prado, I work with REEL MUSIC GROUP which allows access to studios, music production, artist development and promotion. I’m a singer/songwriter that has worked with many talented producers such as Yauj, LoneWolfoni, BreezyBeats, and BooBooontheBeat. I enjoy writing songs as well as with other artists that promote positivity, life experiences and to express my love for music. My goal is to spread my music to promote awareness of self and connect to as many people globally. REEL stands for Real Evidence of Elevated Lifestyle and we as a team strive to grow into the artists we truly aspire to be authentically. You can find my music on any music platforms under Stacey Prado or follow me on instagram @reelstaceyprado. I’m grateful to be apart of a team that genuinely has good intentions that challenges me to be more confident in my craft with the resources they have and to learn more knowledge about the music industry. I hope to achieve growth in mind, body, and spirit as we navigate through life so that our future generations can be better examples of what it means to be the best version of themselves.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The skills I’ve developed through my journey would have to be resilience, being able to write music for different genres, and to stay focused on who I want to be while understanding how to control my emotions and figuring out how to make everyday worth living. There are a lot of doubts artists may have during the process of finding your role in the music industry since it’s become so saturated with new artists everyday but in the end, there is nobody like you and that’s what makes music so special. I always remind myself to keep creating no matter what because everyone has their own story to tell and singing from the heart is what makes it more beautiful. Being able to write different genres challenges me to expand my skills in writing and allows me to reach a bigger audience. Who I am is a reflection of the type of music I write so I don’t force myself to become somebody I’m not. I enjoy making music and working with people who spark inspiration in me to become the best version of myself is all I really want to achieve during this journey.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

The biggest area of growth in the past 12 months would have to be my mental health. I’ve been through a lot this past year and I’ve doubted myself for reasons life and God only knows. I used to make a lot of excuses but now that I’m older, the most important thing I always tell myself is to keep going and growing. With God by my side, I know things will work out no matter what. I know now that everything I’ve been through was to help me become the person that I am now so I give myself grace and allow myself to feel the power I have within to find peace even when I’m not where I want to be yet, life is a journey and I’m just grateful to be here.
