Meet Stacey Susini

We recently connected with Stacey Susini and have shared our conversation below.

Stacey, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?

I’m a mom of four really active kids, and I just didn’t have the time to take care of myself. I was following the trends on social media like everyone else to look and feel younger and fit. I was ordering from whichever ads were flooding my social media and taking all those as truthful. I was nauseated, couldn’t eat and didn’t even have the strength to get out of bed after one online diet medication trend. I decided that I was not going to be a guinea pig. I have a large group of mom friends, and they were doing the same thing and that’s how KYO came to life, I wanted to create a lifestyle, a way for finding treatments that fit your specific needs, but with doctors involved. KYO is unique in that we were created from the patient’s perspective. We grew as my friends, and I were asking ‘what about this’. We still to this day send a handful of social media reels and posts to our KYO doctors weekly asking about the validity of the treatment. Treatments that we can all benefit from are slowly added to the treatment list on KYOrx.com .

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

The new trend is to not feel ashamed about trying to look and feel better. Oprah said it perfectly “I am absolutely done with shaming”. For years dieting was something that was secretive and now people are more confident in general and more transparent in part to social media. Feeling and looking better at any age is a conversation topic now. We talk about this is with our friends, we are a much more informed consumer base that just 10 years ago. Informed doesn’t always mean educated though, there is so much misinformation on social media. Technology has it so that once you search for weight loss product keywords, your Instagram and inbox are inundated with products and some are legit, and some are gimmicks. You just have to make sure that you are connecting with medically based telemedicine companies like KYO.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Being open to failure
2. Starting something new later in life
3. Don’t be ashamed of wanting to be the best version of yourself

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

We live in the Amazon world now where we have grown accustomed to instant accessibility to products. The wait time associated with traditional doctors is something that our society no longer wants to deal with. There are 3 components that are just less appealing:
1. Waiting for the appointment date
2. Disrupting your daily schedule by going to the appointment
3. Fulfilling your prescription.

KYO allows you to do all this on your cell phone at YOUR convenience. We live in a world where time is precious to us all, we are always on the go. This is something you can do in the carpool line, during your lunch break or even while you are out of town.
