Meet Stacie Weisman

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Stacie Weisman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Stacie below.

Stacie , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?

Have you ever tried to be a woman leading in a male dominated industry? If you want to talk obstacles, that one is HUGE! To get meetings or in front of potential buyers, was challenging as a female but I overcame. I did not take no for an answer. When men tried to be the loudest in the room, I was louder. I made my presence known and showed that I can stand with them. When a woman shares the success of a company that she (along with partners) built in an industry that is male dominated, that is a huge feat. Especially with a product that is sold around the world and has seen grassroots success!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I have always been in the beverage world so when we saw a hole in the market, an ignored segment if you will, we decided to launch Bloomers Frozen Drinks with the first-of-its-kind non-alcoholic frosé mixer. We filled the gap and then went on to add new flavors followed by a CBD-infused line. To be a female leader is not something that I take lightly and that ignites a fire in me daily. The success shows we were right in recognizing something missing market and it motivates me to work towards the future, including adding new mixer lines and presence in every country around the world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Assertiveness, confidence and the ability to self-motivate.

Above everything, you have to believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself, everything else will follow. Let your personality shine through. Have a good product or service. Have the confidence to sell it!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

My mother is one of the greatest influences of my life. She taught me to consistently stand up, show up and fight back no matter what. My sister-in-law Donna has also been a true inspiration to me. She has reframed my life after we lost my nephew (and former business partner) in Bloomers’ early days.
