We recently connected with Stacy Crown and have shared our conversation below.
Stacy , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Finding purpose can be so difficult for so many people. And truth be told, society tells us to go to college, get a degree, land our dream job and be there for 40+ years, rack up retirement & then live life. But what about those who go against the grain? Hi, I am Stacy Crown, nice to meet ya!
My story of finding purpose is a long, windy, evolving, shape shifting one. One that I climbed mountains & Fell into valleys. One with wild wild wilderness & truly leaning into God and my faith in order to figure out what my next steps were.
On March 29th, 2014 I found out I was pregnant, and was not expecting to see that little pee stick say “pregnant.” Immediately, me world changed. I knew I had to lean into accepting God’s plan and not my own. Turns out every week when I would say the Lord’s Prayer and the part we would say “His will be done”…I was learning and living that next level. He completely redeemed my story looking back ten years later, but I was literally so sacred in that moment.
Fast forward, here I am with a newborn, a degree in education with no job, and a baby daddy turned boyfriend that I legit only knew for 9 months, (YEP, We got pregnant on the 3rd date!)
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do as a career, so I started with an MLM/Network marketing company that I saw a friend see success with. Little did I know, 5+ years later I would be speaking on stages, leading a team of thousands, working on my phone every second of the day, and breathe my business. Somehow, I had climbed my way to becoming a top earner of a company that I joined to just pay my $185 car payment all those years before. Sometimes you get success you never even wished for.
8 years in, I felt so much burn out. Zooms every night, leadership calls, pep talks, trying to continuously build my team, light fires under peoples butts, and honestly just everything I could to keep my business going and afloat. This is when I decided to really dig into my faith that truly felt so far away.
Funny how when things are going perfectly smoothly you don’t need God, but when they start falling apart, He is the first resort. But isn’t it wonderful that we serve a God who is always here and never gives up on us, even after years of going at it alone and doing it ourselves?
After six months of really arguing and just wrestling with God with what was next and what moves I should make…I woke up one bright morning in June and clicked the resignation button. Immediately, I felt relief. Freedom. And I was also a little panicky thinking “Ok, Show me the way. take the lead” Full circle moment from 2014 when I found out I was pregnant and didn’t know what was next.
It took me a minute to get my grips, but I finally allowed myself to soak in this moments with my husband and kids. I could put my phone down and not have to be attached at all times. I put the success of my prior business under a microscope, only to find out the success I saw was a direct reflection of my leadership. I had really cared about my team, their success, the lives they had, the troubles they had, and I really helped them through so much life. I felt God pulling me into life coaching and so I showed up one day at a networking event called Mom’s in Business and bravely said I was a “faith based life coach” Little did I know the woman leading the event would become my first client and later on one of my best friends.
About a year into life coaching, I felt another whisper from God. I could hear him whispering how amazing I was at business coaching to realize that all of my clients already had businesses. And would ya look at that, here I thought I was a life coach, yet I was interweaving business coaching into each conversation too. So I decided to rebrand and call myself a life + business coach. I am a firm believer that you can’t have a successful business if your life is super messy.
So here I am, leading women in life and business. Hosting events. Sharing my voice on my podcast. Leading a membership community for women in business. Speaking in a totally different capacity, one that is so soul filling. Coaching my 1:1 clients.
And in what I like to call my “pocket of purpose” the sweet spot. When you wake up every single day, doing what you love, you would literally do it for free!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Just a mama of 3, running a business and raising my babies, helping other women find their pocket of purpose and live fulfilling lives doing what they love and loving what they do!
I work with business women in a 1:1 capacity as well as my YBB (Your Business Bestie membership) that allows women to collaborate, connect & find community with women all over the USA. I help women with whatever business needs they have, whether they are just starting out, growing a business or ready to scale.
I drop weekly podcasts on my podcast called: She Is Called.
I am also currently working on a course for women who are busy. I am spilling all the tea on the systems that allowed me to be 100% mom and 100% house wife and 100% wife and 100% business owner simultaneously. I promise, It is wayyyyy easier than it sounds and you really truly can “have it all”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Re-evaluating areas of my life when I felt unease, uncertainty, or just unhappy. I call it put it under a microscope. Write down the things you love about an area of your life, and all the things that make you cringe. And then think about what is in your control to change that area. It may be breaking up from the toxic relationship or leaving the unfulfilling job, or it could mean just taking a walk daily. Big and little things!
Dreaming big. I encourage you to take a white sheet of paper, dar a circle and name it “one day I will” and write down all the things that you hope to do. From vacations, to business adventures, to writing the book…whatever that is for you. Get it out of your head and heart and onto paper. It may not be the perfect timing right now, but God will reveal the perfect season for all of it to get done.
Digging deeper in my relationship with God and surrounding myself with people who support me and my goals. If your circle isn’t clapping for you, you need a new circle.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
A women who is thinking of bringing in an extra income, or already has a business and is needing direction. Unsure of launching what’s next or how to grow her business in the way she wants. Maybe she is stuck and seeking to build out a roadmap and create a plan of action to help her get there. A business women who feels like she needs a great support system and community women to cheer and clap for her, for the big and little wins.
