Meet Stacy Wren

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stacy Wren a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Stacy, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I’m a Hospitality Junkie, spending 19 years working in Hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip across various Mega Resorts such as The Venetian and Palazzo, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Cromwell Las Vegas, Treasure Island and Park MGM Las Vegas.

During COVID, my perspective changed. I developed a desire to help people explore the world outside of Las Vegas, taking away the stress, complex logistics and experiencing an unlimited list of vacation options to choose from.

As I grew my Travel Agency, Global Vacation Pro, my passion has increased! My goals are to make travel accessible to those that need my help the most; Seniors, Solo Explorers, Social Groups, Families, Couples, the LGBTQIA+ Community and Special Disability and Mobility Challenged Travelers. Travel should be accessible and inclusive for all.

The joy in my Travel Agency comes from seeing my clients travel the world to Bucket List Destinations creating lifetime memories. Knowing I had a part of making those dreams come true drives my purpose to help more travelers.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

At Global Vacation Pro, I specialize in the helping travelers explore the world by researching, planning, booking and providing support for their vacation from beginning to end.

Creating a custom vacation is all about the creativity!

Building a special relationship with my clients helps to understand what they are looking for in a vacation…..whether it’s family time, a Once in a Lifetime Adventure, or a Solo Vacation Cruising around the Globe!

I can lean on creativity to put together an experience that is truly unique, and creates lifetime memories, such as snorkeling in Belize, watching whales breech in Alaska, exploring the Galapagos, and sipping wine along the Rhine River in Europe.

Knowing the small nuances of the Travel Industry help me take away the stress of planning and being on vacation for my clients, creating a smooth experience when they leave for vacation.

How lucky am I to be living the freedoms of travel through when I craft these custom vacations for others!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Travel Agents are logistical wizards, carefully piecing together the budget and length of your vacation with flights, hotels/cruises/private homes, transportation needs, tours and activities and exploring your destination!

Fitting this all together in a seamless and relaxing vacation takes patience and organization, and often times it’s more than a vacation. It’s the first 10 days of a 50 year marriage….or a Bucket List memory with your grandkids!

Where my skills are unique comes from working inside of the Hospitality Industry for 19 years. I understand how hotels and tour operators work most efficiently, and how travelers can capitalize on that to have a better experience while on vacation.

Where it’s booking a hotel room the night prior to arriving on a 6am flight, so you can go straight to sleep, or planning out the right amount of time needed in a specific destination to really immerse yourself, these are all skills I’ve built over the last 20 years.

My clients benefit by not having to worry about the logistics of traveling, I put their trip together and we collaborate to finalize what ends up being a lifetime memory.

How would you describe your ideal client?

An ideal client for Global Vacation Pro is an explorer at heart. Often times I work with travelers that vacation multiple times per year. This is a great opportunity, because they understand how much time, research and planning goes into creating a great vacation, and appreciate that I can take over those tasks, give them their time back, and collaborate on a Bucket List Vacation. Clients with a vision of where they want to visit, what they want to experience and HOW makes this collaboration even stronger.

Seniors are a prime example. With an open calendar and desire to explore, Seniors are the top demographic I assist. As their trusted Travel Advisor I help them explore the world safely, efficiently and most importantly…starting crossing off those “Must-Visit” destination on their list.

Always remember, Travel should be inclusive to all….opening up the freedom to relax, explore, grow and recharge around the world!
