Stef, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I discovered an incredible purpose in the visions God has given me! For so long, I felt lost and empty, wandering aimlessly. But everything shifted in December 2023 when I made the powerful decision to get baptized and recommit my life to Christ! This choice has transformed my entire life!
After closing my business for almost a year, I’m back and thriving, pursuing what I love, all while being grounded in my faith. My perspective has completely changed! I’ve moved from simply serving others through my business to a more profound journey of serving others through Jesus and fulfilling my divine purpose. It’s such an exciting and fulfilling path!

Hello there! I’m Stef, the proud owner of OG Jewels Collective, where I create beautiful handmade jewelry. I’m also thrilled to introduce my new project, Gems Market—a carefully curated market designed for amazing vendors! As a wife, a mom of two, and a dog lover, my life is filled with joy and purpose, all grounded in my faith in Jesus.
I’ve always dreamed of organizing events, but I was waiting for the right moment to dive in. Well, that moment is now! I’m excited to take this leap because my vision is crystal clear. This journey is not just about making a profit; it’s about supporting small businesses—something I value deeply as a small business owner myself.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have significantly shaped my journey are as follows:
– **Work Ethic**: A strong work ethic is essential. Strive to outwork everyone around you. It’s vital to focus on your progress rather than comparing yourself to others. Dedicate yourself to consistent effort every single day. Remember, nothing of value comes without hard work and perseverance.
– **Resilience**: Life will undoubtedly present challenges, but what matters is how you respond to them. Each time you fall, you must pick yourself up and continue forward. Understand that you have a purpose and push through the difficulties until you uncover the reasons behind your experiences. Trials can be tough, but remember that just as pressure transforms coal into diamonds, your struggles can also lead to personal growth and strength.
– **Authenticity**: It’s crucial to remain true to yourself. Embrace the person that you are destined to be, as shaped by your beliefs and experiences. I stand firm in my identity and take pride in my faith, not allowing the opinions of others to define me. Often, people will have something to say regardless of your actions, but developing a secure sense of self will enable you to rise above any negativity. Recognize that you are unique, perfectly crafted, and deserving of respect.
The best advice I can offer to anyone embarking on their own journey is quite straightforward: First, cultivate self-belief. Transform your ideas from mere thoughts into tangible realities. Surround yourself with genuine supporters, as their encouragement will be invaluable. Engage in activities necessary for survival and progress until you ultimately reach a place where you can pursue your true passions. Lastly, never underestimate the power of faith and prayer; trust in your path and believe that you will be guided through the challenges you face.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
The most significant area of growth and improvement for me over the past 12 months has been the commitment to LETTING GO AND LETTING GOD. My personal life has presented numerous challenges that have served as a testament to my resilience. I have learned that sometimes, it is essential to release control and trust that outcomes will ultimately align in my favor if I remain faithful.
As I reflected on my year-end closure, I recognized the need to focus on the personal aspects of my life, setting aside the business demands that had consumed much of my time. The pressure of overwork began to impact other facets of my life and hinder my personal development. I am now actively reclaiming those missed moments and learning to establish a healthier balance for myself and my family.
