Meet Stefanie Lendzian

We were lucky to catch up with Stefanie Lendzian recently and have shared our conversation below.

Stefanie , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I find my most creative moments come to me when I am working out , taking my daily walk in nature , and driving in my car listening to a podcast about entrepreneurship. I have a thirst for knowledge and my curiosity has really led me to where I am today . From my past experiences, loosing my mother at a young age I have had the mentality that life is to short and tomorrow is never promised. Take the shot , the worst that can happen is that you learn something and become more wiser than before . Deep down I always had this feeling I was going to invent something or develop something new. Once I had my first idea about developing a natural powder to be dispensed in a unique way for barbers and stylists to use after haircut services , the ideas kept coming . It’s like I unlocked this part in my brain and now the way I look at life is through a different lense . I’m constantly seeing “white spaces “ in the market for better or more innovative products , tools to make life better and easier for consumers and the environment.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’ve spent the last 20 years as a hairstylist, helping my clients look and feel their best. It’s the most fulfilling part of the job being able to connect and touch people on a different level, but help make their day, their special moment, take out and how they feel about themselves better.  When creating  NAPRIM Naturals and our products, I took my passion and turn it into my mission for helping others feel better in their skin. I watched my daughter struggle with her eczema, and I never wanted anybody to go through what we did so in creating these products I am able to give them back their self-confidence. I saw the need for all natural products to alleviate skin and scalp irritation not in your traditional cream lotion, ointments that are sticky that burn the skin with harsh chemicals. are unique powders are soothing and calming to the skin highly effective and alleviating skin irritations due to the concentrated formula of the plant-based powders. Being a powder they are also better for the environment longer shelf life, smaller carbon footprint . Recently, we just launched the first powder dry shampoo specifically formulated with SPF and we were featured on today.com as one of the top dry shampoos . We have so many exciting ideas for expanding the product line in 2024!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think one of the major things that I’ve helped me is really connecting with other local entrepreneurs and small business owners. Sharing ideas and what has worked or any kind of connections and resources have been really helpful in getting me to where I am today. Honestly google has helped so much and now with AI as a small business and a start up, you have limited funds and resources, so really research listen to every podcast to help you in those stages of growth. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
I think it’s so important to go all in on your strengths and collaborate or hire people that will fill in the areas of your weakness. When hiring on, I always tell them that they are the expert in this area I’m not gonna try to exhaust or spend time when they can do it better, and faster and more efficiently. Working smarter not harder and knowing when you need help in an area is beneficial to growth and getting out of your own way !
