Meet Stella Amador

We were lucky to catch up with Stella Amador recently and have shared our conversation below.

Stella, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I have always loved jigsaw puzzles. The idea of building something from scratch and watching the pieces come together has always felt deeply fulfilling to me. There is something meditative about finding where each piece belongs, the quiet satisfaction of order emerging from chaos. In many ways, that has been the rhythm of my life, seeing patterns where others see fragments and turning uncertainty into form.

For more than twenty years, I worked as an architect of sustainable growth for both businesses and individuals. It came naturally. I became a sort of cartographer for dreamers, helping build companies in fields as diverse as law, construction, and start-ups.

At the same time, I was a secret poet. That part of me felt too vulnerable to share, and too impractical. Three years ago, I stepped onto a stage and read my poetry for the first time. My voice and my hands shook, but the relief of sharing what was in my heart was too cathartic to ignore. It was not the spotlight or the applause that stayed with me, but the power of connection and vulnerability. That moment changed everything.

Soon after, I left the company I had built for over a decade and began to write. During that process, I created what became the PLANT Your Life Planner, drawing from the framework I had developed over the years and the reflections I had long used with clients. I wove in my poetry and photography to create a guide that blends structure with soul.

When the book was published in April 2025, I felt whole for the very first time. The architect and the gardener, the strategist and the poet, all finally belonged in one place. Since then, I have launched Wild Bloom Poetry, a gathering that brings together poets, musicians, and dreamers to celebrate authenticity and art. Purpose, I’ve learned, isn’t about choosing one path. It’s about allowing all the parts of yourself to coexist and create something meaningful together.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am the founder of Bloom by Stella, a mission-driven brand devoted to helping people live with intention through tools, poetry, and community. My book, PLANT Your Life Planner, combines my degree in psychology with more than twenty years of experience building businesses. It is guided by my PLANT Framework: Prioritize your values and intentions, Learn new skills, Act on your plans, Nurture relationships, and Take care of yourself.

This framework bridges practicality and self-discovery. It helps people align their actions with their values, balancing growth with well-being. What makes it special is how it turns planning into a mindful ritual, blending poetry, reflection, and photography to create space for both clarity and creativity.

Alongside the planner, I host Wild Bloom Poetry, a gathering that unites poets, artists, and musicians in a shared space of connection. Seeing this community come together organically in such a short time is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

My focus now is on expanding both Bloom by Stella and Wild Bloom Poetry to reach more people who are seeking meaning, presence, and balance in a society that rewards hustle culture.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities that have shaped my path are perspective, resilience, and intentionality.

Perspective came early through loss and change. Life taught me that clarity is freedom. When you know what truly matters, your decisions come from alignment rather than fear.

Resilience has been my quiet strength. I have built, let go, and begun again many times. Relishing in the space between what was and what is to come. I’ve learned to value progress over perfection and to view every season of life as part of a larger unfolding.

Intentionality is the thread that ties it all together. It’s the heart of the PLANT Framework and a reminder that intention demands attention. Choose your focus with care, and be flexible enough to adjust when life shifts.

For those just starting their journey, my advice is simple: slow down and listen to your intuition. Clarity comes through curiosity and reflection, asking yourself hard questions and answering them honestly, not rushing through life. Keep learning, be excited about the newness of life, stay open, and trust that even the challenging moments are shaping you into who you are meant to become.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes. I’m currently looking to collaborate with foundations, municipalities, and philanthropists to help bring large-scale programs to life that merge nature, art, poetry, music, and intentional living. With the rise of AI and social media, I know it’s now more important than ever to create spaces that remind us of our humanity and reconnect us in real, tangible ways.

I’m also seeking artists and visionaries who feel the urgency of this moment and want to co-create meaningful experiences, projects that inspire reflection, connection, and growth within our communities.

If this vision resonates, I’d love to connect. You can reach me through email at [email protected] or on Instagram at @bloombystella to explore how we can bring projects of impact to life together.
