Meet Stephanie Ferrato

We recently connected with Stephanie Ferrato and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie, you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity comes from a lesson my grandfather taught me: ‘Leave people better than when you found them.’ That phrase has shaped how I view the world and interact with others. I believe everyone is fighting battles we know nothing about. In today’s age, especially with social media, we mostly see the highlights of people’s lives, not the struggles behind the scenes.

For me, being generous is about more than helping others, it fills me with a sense of purpose and joy. What you put out into the world comes back to you, so I believe in doing good because good will find its way back. Just have a good heart, even if others don’t respond in the same way. People can’t give what they don’t have, and that’s okay.

Do your part, lead with kindness, and trust that your actions can create a ripple effect. Even small acts of generosity can inspire others to spread positivity, bringing light not only to someone else’s day but to yours as well.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m Stephanie Ferrato, a real estate advisor and founder of PARAMOUNTFL Group at Lokation Real Estate. What I love most about what I do is that it’s not just about transactions, it’s about the people. Whether I’m helping someone find their dream home, guiding them through a complex real estate decision, or simply being a supportive presence during a life change, I’m deeply committed to making sure they feel heard and taken care of. Real estate is all about connections, understanding what people truly need, and helping them find a space where they can grow and thrive.

My journey into real estate is actually rooted in something unexpected, my dog, Marley. At just 3 years old, Marley became paraplegic, and that experience taught me a lot about resilience and adaptability. It was a wake-up call about facing challenges head-on, and it’s that same resilience that I bring to my work every day.

Along with my passion for real estate, I also bring a solid marketing background to the table. I’m passionate about creating strategies that help my clients’ properties stand out in today’s competitive market. Whether it’s through digital campaigns, social media, or personalized marketing materials, I use my marketing experience to make sure my clients’ goals are front and center, delivering real results.

I’m constantly learning and evolving to stay ahead in the industry. I currently hold Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Interior Staging and Decorating Professional certifications—tools that help me better serve my clients, especially when it comes to listings. I’m also working on adding a few more certifications and my broker’s license, something I’ve been looking forward to for a while now.

One of my main focuses right now is building a trusted, top-tier team at PARAMOUNTFL Group. I believe that having the right team is essential for providing the best service to our clients. That means putting integrity, professionalism, and a dedication to excellence at the core of everything we do.

In addition to my professional journey, I’m also a mom of two, which has made time management a key focus in my life. With only 24 hours in a day, I’m constantly working to balance family, work, and everything in between. But, it’s a challenge I embrace every day because it keeps me grounded and focused on what really matters.

Ultimately, my mission is simple: to help people, build trust, and leave a positive impact wherever I go. Whether through real estate or simply being there for others, I strive to do my part in creating a ripple effect of generosity and kindness that can spread throughout the community.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey, I can confidently say that three qualities have had the most impact on my growth and success: consistency, resilience, and the ability to focus on incremental progress. These three areas have shaped my path, and I would encourage anyone just starting their own journey to prioritize them as well.

First, consistency has been a game-changer. The power of small, daily actions, even when they seem insignificant at the time, has been at the core of my success. This idea is deeply rooted in the principles of The Slight Edge, a book that emphasizes how simple daily habits can compound over time, leading to huge results. For those just starting out, I recommend focusing on showing up every day, even if it’s just in small ways. Whether it’s making one extra phone call, spending an extra 15 minutes learning something new, or setting aside time for reflection, these small actions add up.

Second, resilience has been essential. In real estate and life in general, there will always be ups and downs. Challenges are inevitable, and it’s easy to feel discouraged when things aren’t going as planned. The Slight Edge teaches that setbacks don’t define you; it’s how you recover and keep going that makes all the difference. For anyone new to their journey, my advice is to embrace failure as part of the process. Don’t let the bumps in the road stop you from moving forward. Learn from them, adapt, and keep your focus on your long-term goals.

Lastly, incremental progress is a key concept in The Slight Edge. Rather than aiming for overnight success or drastic changes, I’ve learned that growth comes from making small, continuous improvements. For someone starting out, I would encourage you to focus on progress, not perfection. Celebrate small wins and understand that success isn’t about a giant leap forward but rather about steady, consistent movement in the right direction. Track your progress, no matter how small, and trust that the compound effect of these actions will pay off over time.

I live by the principles of The Slight Edge and The Secret, knowing that I will get to where I want to be. I understand that it’s all part of the process, and I’m focused on doing what I can every day to keep moving forward. So, my advice is simple: Start small, stay consistent, and trust that your journey is unfolding as it should. Even when things feel slow or challenging, remember that the small steps you take today will lead to the big results you desire in the future.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

One book that’s had a huge impact on me is The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. What I love about it is how it highlights the power of small, everyday actions that often go unnoticed. It’s easy to think that success comes from big, dramatic changes, but this book shows that it’s the small, consistent choices we make each day that really add up over time.

A few key takeaways that stuck with me are:

Success is built on simple daily habits. It’s not about one big breakthrough, but about doing the small things consistently, day in and day out. These little actions make a huge difference in the long run.

Small improvements lead to big results. Just getting 1% better every day might seem insignificant, but over time, those small changes compound into something much bigger. It’s a reminder that gradual progress is still progress.

Consistency is key. It’s not about being perfect every day, but about showing up and staying consistent. Whether it’s in business, personal life, or any goal, the real magic happens when you keep going, even when it feels like nothing big is happening.

I’m also a big fan of self-development books in general. They’ve been a huge part of my growth journey. I love how they challenge you to think differently, push your limits, and continue evolving. Books like The Slight Edge remind me that personal growth is a continuous process, and even the smallest steps forward can make a big impact over time. It’s all about being consistent, learning, and improving, one small step at a time.
