Meet Stephanie Padro

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stephanie Padro. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Stephanie, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I never really knew what the word resilience meant until someone told me I had a ton of it.. I just knew that no matter what hardships life sent to me I could do one or two things; push through or give up. And there were definitely times I felt like giving up. My teen years is where it all started. I was cheated on by boyfriends with my friends. I craved attention like all of the other girls were getting. And I got what I asked for. I got attention. But at the young age of 16 I also got abuse. Physical and emotional. These are times I wanted to give up. I felt that I wasn’t worth anything. This man had single handedly tore away any self value I had left. And I allowed it. I ran away from home, had no money, was living in hotel room and doing drugs for “fun”. But at 18 I found out I was pregnant and my daughter became my why. I left that relationship, something I was proud of. Until I met my now ex husband. 2 more children later I was in the middle of another toxic and abusive relationship living pay check to pay check not know how I was going to get through another day. But back to my Why. I looked at my 3 babies and knew that I needed to do better for them. This is where my resilience came from. There was no giving up. There was no going back. There was my WHY, my children. The one part of my life that I needed to prioritize. Every moment in my life I could have given up. I became my own hype girl. I remember looking at myself in the mirror giving myself pep talks. I listened to podcasts that made me feel unstoppable. And every time things got (and sometimes still get) hard I look at my kids. And remember they made me a Mom. They deserve for me to be a role model. And because of them I found resilience.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a corporate insurance agent turned Coach and Healer. My journey started 9 years ago after my divorce. I wasn’t happy in my toxic career and knew that I needed change. I dove into personal development and found my passion. I wanted to help other women live life by design. Not allowing the days to run then. I launched my business is 2023 as an Empowerment Coach. In 2024 I pivoted into a Visionary Leader helping women create a clear vision, map it out with goals and action steps and then help empower them to get over limiting fears that are holding them back.

What is most exciting about what I do is when I see a women’s face light up with joy when she can clearly see what her life could be.

I have a holistic approach to my business as we look at all areas of the life and person. And coming soon I will be incorporating crystal work into my practice!

I host workshops, Sistership Circles and also one on one coaching. I will be launching a new program this Spring which will be a 12 week one-2-one Vision Mapping program. I am also a speaker and have been on podcasts, seminars and in person events.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Courage, Drive and Personal Development. Without courage I would have stopped… so many times. Drive is what propelled me forward. Something didn’t work I pivoted. And without Personal Development I would still be insecure, unsure and doing the same thing I was not moving anywhere.

My advice is it’s ok to be afraid but do it anyway. Worst that can happen, it doesn’t work out. You find the lesson in that and pivot. Have drive, go after what you want. Even if you stop, start again. Don’t let a bad day deter you from your goals and dreams. Give yourself grace. And lastly delve into personal development! Listen to something motivational every day. Find a podcast you love or a book that will help you grow. Learning never ends.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero. I’ve read it twice.

The most impactful thing I learned from this book it to let go of fear of judgement and let go of societal norms. We are taught from kids how life should be. Get a good job, get married, have kids, make good money, buy a house, have a corporate job with benefits and 401k. These are a lot of times what we are told by our parents. This is what they were told. But it’s time to break free from us living up to these norms. It’s time to live life on our own terms. On what feels right in our souls. And yes people will judge but that’s their small thinking as they were taught the same. That’s not a YOU problem. You were meant to be a Badass!
