Meet Stephanie Tishler

We were lucky to catch up with Stephanie Tishler recently and have shared our conversation below.

Stephanie, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

Confidence is something I’ve built over time through professional and
personal experience, resilience, and self-trust. I’ve learned that confidence
isn’t about knowing everything—it’s about trusting that you can figure things
out and using your network and resources. Stepping outside my comfort zone,
embracing failures as learning opportunities, and surrounding myself with
supportive, growth-oriented people and mentors, have all played a huge role. I
also believe in the power of a positive mindset and preparation—the more
you do the work and create impact, the confidence follows.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am an ICF Credentialled Career Transition, Professional and Business
Development Coach. As the founder of Tishler Coaching Services, I specialize
in helping highly motivated individuals and businesses unlock their potential,
gain clarity, and take intentional steps toward their personal and professional
goals. My work is deeply fulfilling because I get to witness the transformation
that happens when people gain confidence, step into their strengths, and take
control of their lives.
I bring a wealth of professional and personal experience to all my coaching
engagements, with proven, recognized coaching methods and tools. During
my 20+ year career in advertising sales I worked with some powerhouse
brands, including Discovery Channel and Oprah Winfrey. I truly understand –
first-hand – the spectrum of opportunities and challenges encountered by
ambitious, high-performing individuals.

Beyond coaching clients one-on-one worldwide and collaborating with local
teams, I co-host a virtual book discussion group and lead networking events
and workshops, including my most popular offering—the Vision Board
Workshop. Passionate about giving back, I actively volunteer my time to
support nonprofit organizations, creating meaningful impact and raising
funds for important causes.

We’d love to hear a bit more about your overall approach.

I believe in a balanced approach. Leaning into your strengths allows you to
excel and create the most impact, yet being aware of your weaknesses is
equally important. Instead of trying to be great at everything, I focus on
developing my strengths while building the essential skills that support my
growth. In areas where I’m not as strong, I seek collaboration, mentorship, or
tools to bridge the gap. It’s about playing to your advantages while
continuously evolving.

What makes my coaching approach unique is that I don’t believe in a one-size-
fits-all strategy. Through a customized program, I help each of my clients
navigate challenges and overcome self-doubt to build sustainable success . I
am a thought partner and hold my clients accountable in a way that works for
them.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Resilience – The ability to adapt, learn from setbacks, and keep pushing
forward is crucial for success.
2. Self-awareness – Knowing your strengths, weaknesses, and values
helps you make aligned decisions and build confidence.
3. Effective communication – Whether in business or personal
relationships, the ability to articulate your ideas clearly and connect
with others is a game-changer.
