Hi Stephanie, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

As a kid I always knew I loved art, especially nail art. Nanicures Unwrapped grew from my passion of creating fun manicures with intricate nail art on myself and the Impact I observed it had on others around me. I would always get asked if I would adorn others with nail art and once I finally decided to leap all in, the joy it brought people fueled me to keep going. After a trip to a local salon and a pleasant interaction with the owner, I decided schooling was my next venture. During this time, i made my first Presson sale and felt reassured that I was on the right path. I have an amazing spouse who really helped bring my brand vision to life and who has been the most supportive person along this journey. Realizing that I can bring happiness to society through my art allowed me to bring purpose into something I once thought of as just a hobby.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Nanicures Unwrapped is a luxury beauty brand that provides custom Press on nails for any special theme and occasion. We provide adults and children the perfect alternative to the perfect manicure look without the Salon visit. The best part about this form of custom nail is, they are reusable. Currently N.U. is working on an editorial portfolio for our Fashion presence, with hopes for expansion into the fashion industry through commercials, runways, photoshoots and more. We’ve partnered with local creators to showcase new creations and can’t wait to see where our efforts take us.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Working in corporate offices provided me with a new perspective on business ownership, yet also revealed my yearning for greater creativity. Every interaction in that environment became a valuable learning experience in business practices. During my business degree at Hillsborough Community College, I discovered my true passion and started a beauty business. The schooling equipped me with essential management skills and a deeper understanding of business operations. Attending nail specialist school further enhanced my knowledge of nail anatomy and care, crucial for developing beneficial products. My childhood love for arts and crafts nurtured my unique style which effortlessly translated into nail art.

Overall, my dedication to industry education, integrating playful creativity into business, and embracing every experience as a potential lesson have been key to my business growth.

Entering the world of entrepreneurship is profoundly rewarding, and I encourage others to embrace it with a mindset of continuous learning and growth. Business is dynamic, so enjoy the journey, reflect on your beginnings and look toward your goals.
