We were lucky to catch up with Steve Bodansky recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Steve, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
By being fully loved and appreciated and learning how to do the same. I have always been curious and playful, even more so as I get older. By being curious it has me feel that I am making the most of every possibility.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I have been a sensual coach and still am, for many years with my wife who recently passed away in a perfect and peaceful manner. I was a wonderful care lover, agreat romantic lover in general. By putting my attention away from me, I became a better person. We have given many classes in both California and New York City. I started writing non fiction how to books about pleasure over 25 years ago, including 2 best selling sensual books about Extended Massive Orgasm, or EMO, a term we coined. I have now published 16 books. I have branched out into romantic fiction with educational aspects that I thoroughly enjoy, plus books on poetry of the yin yang, caregiving, and now a book of short romantic stories.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Being present, having a sense of humor, not taking the world too seriously, being curious, playful, attentive, revealing, and noticing, calling the last four of these PARN.
Do what you enjoy. Get in agreement with what ever shows up, enjoy each step of the journey.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
