Meet Steve Moon

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Steve Moon. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Steve below.

Steve, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I was saved at an early age. I always knew my purpose was something other than following the ways of this world. I don’t like the ways of this world.
I tried the corporate world for a while and always knew i didn’t fit in. There is more to life than a 401k, a 9-5 job and all those things. God calls us to serve Him, not the world.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I do a little of everything. I have been a youth leader at my church, a basketball coach in my community, and a filmmaker. I enjoy helping people and making things easier for people in a world that is plagued by sadness and sorrow. Below is a link to my website.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

God provides. When this world lets you down, and it will, God always provides.
Faith in the good times is faith. Faith in the hard times is FAITH. God wants you to lean on Him.
Always learn. Be humble and learn.

My advice would be for people to not take themselves too seriously. Help others. Be there for them.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

Raising me in church. Raising me to respect others. To be a family. To love. To forgive.
