Steve, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found it at age 18 while working for my family’s Health Club. I met many people much older than me. I found I was giving them so much service that they started offering me resources, tips, and advice that helped me grow as a person and a businessman.
I realized my purpose was to serve everyone I encountered. I was amazed at how fast my network grew ( and my businesses grew as well) and how my income grew. I loved the feeling of bringing value to people without being transactional. I say now that being Transformational and not Transactional is the better way to go.
My mindset is every time I serve, it has the feeling I am giving Christmas gifts daily. It is such a wonderful and powerful emotion.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Over the last ten years, I have been responsible for over 25 Million dollars in partnerships I have put together. I have a large network that allows me the opportunity to bring value and abundance to people through introductions, resources, or advice. I found many people want to connect with me because of the value I bring. I also host over 45 millionaires and billionaires in a Referral Marketplace Mastermind. We help highly successful people grow their networks and build events to get their thought leader platform to more people. It allows us to share our networks and grow even more. Value comes in many forms, and one of those is your message of social good. We help in bringing that message to the world. My Podcast was named #1 in Small Business Marketing, “Doing Business with a Servant’s Heart.” My TV Show “Together We Serve” has over 28,000 views a month. This is my process to grow my network and meet those highly successful business owners, celebrities, and Pro athletes.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
#1 was to Shut Up and Listen. Many people will mute on Zoom calls, but are they listening? I don’t think most of the time. When I learned to listen, my value grew ten times. I can hear what they need and offer incredible value to everyone I meet.
#2 Serve before selling; this skill is such a powerful tool. Do you want a short-term sale or a sale that lasts months and years and could bring you many referrals? I found this has helped SO many people in their business and life.
#3 Your Network is your Net Worth. Everyone wants to grow their income. We have bills, things we need, fun trips, etc. So it would be best to build your worth, which builds your income. The more highly successful people in your network, the more you will learn and the more money you will make. I mentor people and tell them to mentor those below their income level, and ABL will always be learning from people above them. This tip can be a life changer for your business and life.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
I have two books that are connected. Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill and Can You Think and Grow Rich? The law of increase has been my guiding light for 4 years now. Once I read that chapter, it showed me how increasing someone’s life will bring you abundance that you can share with many other people. The 2nd book shows me how I can apply these principles to my daily life and business. It is so easy to follow, and anyone can find their dreams and go for them.
The gratitude peace of both these books is a perfect partner to increase. This act of being grateful can lead to so many true riches. My legacy is to have people read the credits of my movie and say, ” Steve led with his heart and served with his soul.” A place that I could live in for a very long time.
