Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Susan Campanaro. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Susan, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
When I was young I enjoyed drinking and using recreational drugs(HaHa) But also loved tennis, swimming & creativity. I loved to dance, sing, act and make others laugh. Once I realized my Primary Purpose was to be a sober human having a spiritual experience through love and service I became who I am suppost to be. I live a life beyond my wildest dreams. To serve others through my natural talents.

DOINGTIMEWITHLAVINIA.COM is my website. I have created an Alter Ego, Lavinia Draper that inspires others through Fearlessness I work at The Stonewall Inn & The LBGTQ Center in NYC. I inspire creativity and community through the arts
My Musical written by myself and Lynn Portas is inspiring people to make Lemonade out of Lemons. Fiind the silver lining in all situations. Continue to proceed through life with gratitude.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I began studying theater in high school. I learned Comedia Del Arte (improvisation) Greatest gift of my life are my improv skills I started at Gothem City Improv. I wanted to be in their troop but the head od school saud I should work alone. Lavinia Draper was created and for 30 years I have headlined at Stonewall Inn, The Duplex, The Triad, Ice Palace & Denver Pridefest Mainstage, Hamburger Mary’s. I have played London. Brighton Beach, UK & Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Living a life of service
Community minded lifestlye(being a worker amungst workers) Mentorship of your friends, co-workers and family. Try to uplife eachother instead of pulling eachother down. Look to see where you can help in all situations.
If you are young find mentors that help you to grow in your field. Seek out people who have what you want and ask them how they did it.
Ask yourself “What is keeping me from my Greatness” and work on it. Find out who is the wisest person you know and witness their qualities. Ask yourself when you are in conflict “What would a wise person say?” And follow that. All you need to know is inside you. You just have to listen in meditation.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I would like to meet a producer who is interested in furthering my dream to uplift people through singing and storytelling. To inspire people to never give up
