Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Suzann Christine. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Suzann, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from my passion to get something completed. I feel a great sense of reward when I have come up with a goal and I have put time, energy and effort into seeing it through and come to fruition. Growing up I would always be a part of different organizations such as Girl Scouts, performing arts groups and more. Being a part of those organizations helped me get hands on experience working on projects. All of our projects received the results we wanted or didn’t want based upon the work and determination we put in them. If you want good results, you have to earn them and you don’t earn them by sitting around.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a serial entrepreneur primarily known as a Singer, Songwriter and founder of nonprofit organization SCH Creative & Performing Arts Inc.
I am also the CEO of my own label and entertainment company SCH Entertainment. I also serve as Governor for the Philadelphia Recording Academy Grammy Chapter where I co-chair the Education committee.
I am currently focused on raising funds for my nonprofit organization FLY Star program which helps cultivate talented youth in Philadelphia interested in learning from Music Industry professionals on what it takes to be a professional music artist. I am extremely excited for this years programs and impacting more youth in our city. I am also focused on educating my colleagues in music on the importance of Life Insurance and disability insurance through virtual classes on a platform I built for music artist and professionals called Music Artist Universe. In addition to those things I am excited to be working on my next music project for a 2025 release.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Some qualities and skills that were most impactful on my journey was my work ethic and drive. My ability to push through every set back and no I may have received. I always had my mindset on achieving my personal goals and producing quality music and visuals for my fans. Another strong quality outside of my amazing talent and strong voice is my willingness to learn from past mistakes. My ability to connect and collaborate with multiple people in my industry helped me to learn what I know today. I did not limit my self to one group of people or crew. This allowed me to grow and become more versatile in my creativity. I also make strides to place myself in organizations or worlds that aren’t connected to music that I had interest in which helped build my brand.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Me! When it comes to overcoming challenges, I personally take out time to focus on training my mind to manifest a outcome I desire. I have spent time with myself reading books or gaining knowledge by investing in programs or courses that would help propel me forward. God who lives within has helped me develop these essential skills, qualities and knowledge. I let the divine spirit guide me.
