Meet Suzie Jordan

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Suzie Jordan. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Suzie, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

I nourish my creativity by fully immersing myself in it! I’ve learned that life will always present its own challenges, so having a solid foundation—a grounding place—is crucial. Every day, I prioritize giving back to myself through creative outlets. This could involve editing a video, crafting a bracelet, or simply assembling an outfit; I believe there’s creativity in everyday choices so it only has one choice to stay alive. I also like incorporating lots of color that significantly boosts my inspiration. Additionally, keeping art close such as in my home, car, or office serves as a constant reminder to create and to approach daily life, including problem-solving, with a creative mindset.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m the creator of The BEEd Box Jewelry Co. This venture is incredibly personal to me, a reflection of a lifelong connection to jewelry that started long before I could even imagine.

My journey with jewelry began with my grandmother. I vividly remember the day she gave me my first piece: a pair of gold hoop earrings. There was something truly magical about her placing them in my ears—a feeling that stayed with me. As I grew older, she continued to share her jewelry with me. I’ve always loved how jewelry made me feel, and I’ve always gravitated towards bold, unique pieces with character.

The idea for The BEEd Box Jewelry Co. (originally conceived under another name) sparked from a conversation with my brother, Brandon. When he asked me what I wanted to do with my life, I didn’t have an answer. But when he prompted me to list things I enjoyed, jewelry stood out more than anything else. The very next day, I went to a local bead shop, bought as many beads as I could, and created some beautiful bracelets. It just felt right. Much of the credit for helping me unlock my creative potential goes to my husband, Kenny, whose love and support allowed me to discover my artistic voice and get the chance to explore its depths.

Ever since then, I’ve been creating jewelry, with a passion for crafting statement pieces that are truly unique. In the past year, I’ve also launched my new line: Signature BEEd box purses. While not jewelry, these one-of-a-kind BEEd Box bags are crafted from vintage jewelry components. You must see them! Oh yes, you’ll definitely want to check out the adorable K&B Blossom collection, featuring fun button earrings lovingly repurposed from my grandma’s button bins.

Yet, some of my designs also lean towards simplicity and versatility, perfect for layering. I honestly believe my collection offers a little bit of everything for everyone. I’m drawn to crystals and stones because I believe they carry symbolic messages, and helping individuals find pieces that resonate with their own story is a core part of my mission.

My slogan, “Let your jewelry tell your story,” truly captures the essence of The BEEd Box Jewelry Co. It’s about finding pieces that speak to you, the individual.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three qualities that impacted my journey are as followed;

1. Consistency is Key

You absolutely must stay consistent. Show up. Deliver. Produce. This steady effort will continuously reveal your true path and naturally evolve your work. The more you do, the more you’ll uncover.

2. Believe in Yourself

You have to believe in yourself. Without your belief, your journey cannot truly blossom. Whatever you choose to pursue, remember that you are the essential ingredient for its growth.

3. Cultivate Drive and Willpower

You need a strong drive, an unyielding willpower, to keep your aspirations alive. This isn’t just about pushing boundaries; it’s about shattering perceived limitations. Your drive will keep you energized, while your belief will sustain the momentum.

If I leave you with any single piece of advice, it’s this: hold on and keep going. No matter what you’re building, even if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t like what you see or aren’t truly proud of it yet, it’s okay. We all start somewhere, and remember the beginning, the birth of where it all began, is often the most vital, the most beautiful part of the entire process.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

My ideal clients are the vibrant, eccentric souls who treat fashion as a playground. Think bold individuals who fearlessly combine pieces in ways that are unconventional yet undeniably chic—the kind of “don’t go together, but absolutely go together” aesthetic. They exude pride and personality, letting their jewelry, accessories, and clothing choices shine with vibrant authenticity. I’m passionate about working with people who resonate with this fearless approach to style—those who truly embrace color, confidence, and self-expression, no matter what society might think. It’s challenging to find these kindred spirits in my area, but I know I will find them soon! If this is you reading, let’s connect and make some magic!
