Sylvia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
A late bloomer in nearly every category, I constantly felt deeply flawed, like I didn’t belong anywhere. I majored in Dramatic Arts at USC, where I realized I didn’t have the passion necessary to sustain a career in acting. While I dabbled and floated my way through retail and corporate jobs in my twenties, frustrated to no end at not having found my “thing”, my childhood dog passed away and changed my life forever. To be connected on a soul-level with him as his life slipped away from his body, I understood on a visceral level that he was there one minute, and the next, he was gone. That moment sparked a life-long obsession with life, death, and spirituality because I wanted desperately to understand what I had seen and felt in that moment, and needed to know where my best friend had gone. Shortly after, I “happened to” stumble across a tv show called Crossing Over, in which a medium named John Edward connected with his audience’s loved ones who had died. I started reading everything I could about psychic and medium development, past lives, and near death experiences, but only considered it a curious hobby, since by then I was busy with my husband and our photography business. While he took the pictures, I did styling, art direction, and coached from behind the camera. We had our work featured in several magazines and went on so many adventures together. 2010-2013 was an unfortunate season of illness and deaths in our family, but it turned out to be a huge awakening for me. I started feeling my loved ones leading me toward the right books, classes, and mentors for my own psychic development, and between having our first baby in 2015 and then our second just weeks before the world went into lockdown in 2020, what I thought was just a hobby turned out to be my calling. Learning my human design was the validation I needed, as it confirmed that my entire life purpose is to connect with the unseen world, and teach others about intuition. I even use the experience from my acting degree to teach intuition and psychic skills to regular people, proving that there is no such thing as wasted experience in this life. Now I do intuitive sessions for clients all over the world, I’m a featured coach for Pheydrus Metaverse, and I’ll be launching my podcast Soul-Level Human in the next month. But perhaps I’m most proud of how I’ve been able to parent in a way that fosters my children’s own sense of self and connection to their own inner wisdom, with healthy boundaries, communication, and trust. It’s not perfect, of course, but it’s been so incredibly healing. We have so much fun.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
While the new age space is saturated with high vibes and feeling good, my approach challenges my clients to stay fully plugged into the human experience, and empowers them with the energetic tools to sustain the expansive ability to hold both. The next level is stepping into their soul leadership, which of course starts within themselves, and radiates to personal and professional relationships, and has a greater impact in the world.
We do this in the Coalition Membership, as well as my 1:1 coaching, and group programs.
Our world is in dire need of leaders who can tune in to receive the intuition, strong enough to hold the clear vision, and courageous enough to take the real action required to put the energy into practice, even and especially when the process is challenging.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The most integral quality that has always served me well is my curiosity and excitement for learning. Even in readings, the way things come through uses the library of experience and understanding that I’ve naturally gained by existing. And when teaching difficult concepts, my spirit team uses my frame of reference to make learning fun and simple. Like I said, there is no wasted experience.
The most universally important skill is listening. Whether it’s a client, my spirit guides, or my children, listening is the number one superpower that has always allowed me to quickly build a true connection, with trust, empathy, and understanding.
And lastly, it comes down to courage. It takes courage to trust yourself and your own guidance over the opinion of others. It takes courage to be vulnerable and have tough conversations with people you love. It takes courage to do things that are way outside of your comfort zone. But brave step by brave step, each action adds up, and the reward for courage is always the gift of yourself, the unwavering knowledge that you have your own back, and the unmatched satisfaction that comes with living this way.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is a person who wants to live all the way, and get all of the expansion, growth, joy, and impact out of this life that their soul came for. That comes down to the way they show up in all relationships: with themselves, with their spirituality, with their loved ones both living and passed, with their professional life, and with the world at large. Being human is a lot, and it’s so easy to check out on autopilot and depression and overwhelm. It’s the soul context that adds the perspective and the necessary focus and fuel to keep going. My clients not only know that there’s another, better way, but they know in their soul that this approach is imperative to make the fast and powerful changes the world so desperately needs. They know it’s why they came.
