Meet T Drake

We recently connected with T Drake and have shared our conversation below.

T, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
My Faith in Lord Jesus Christ has a ton to do with that. I have gone through some hard things in life. Due to those things or situations I was able to see that I made it through. It is not always easy to have mindset of optimism when you are going through the storms of life. When those storms of life start coming it is wonderful to know Jesus can calm any storm. My optimism definitely has strong and deep roots in my Faith for sure. I always look at my life and think there are others that may have it worse than I do. I do my best to see the brighter side of situations.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a Podcaster and a Speaker and an Author. I do assist people that want to get started telling there story or they have a message to get out. I help them cultivate not being afraid to share their message with the world. I also utilize my platforms to help other podcasters that may not be know to get exposure. I also utilize my platforms to share what independent artists in the Faith are doing. I do my best to provide spaces for those wanting to step out and do something. Then I teach them how to use what they have and build on that. Where they want to take their journey is up to them. I am always willing to speak about my Faith walk. It encompasses Domestic Violence, military, Special needs,HIV, and mental health. I provide a service to teach those that want to get started in podcasting. Myself and Pastor J have a program that is only 4 sessions long. After learning how to create and start their own podcast. We want to showcase them at events we of course will be putting on in the future. We both require people that are serious, committed and willing invest in themselves.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
There have been a few things that have assisted me along my journey. Prayer being one of them that I can never do without. The other quality I depended is consistency. Without getting up everyday for the past 5 years at 3 or 4 AM. I could not see doing some of things I have done. Lastly, tenacity never stopping never giving up and rising above my circumstances was key. I would share this advice if you are going to do something be all in. Do not do it a little bit and then expect massive return for a small investment. The investment does not always have to be monetary in nature. If you invest only a little time and your expecting yield high a high return back. It will not happen because you need to be in the C.A.R. Meaning as Pastor J would say committed, accountable responsible. If there is no discipline in what you want how will get to your destination? Focus on the goal you have set a press towards it. Do not compare yourself or your journey to others. Keep going and never give up and do not quit!!! Keep going!!!!

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
These person truly is ready to learn. This client is committed to staying the course. This client will pay and share with others what they have learned. The ideal client also is willing to be committed for the entire program and process. Those clients will see the progress and growth in what they are learning. That would be my ideal client.
