Meet Tabitha Brogdon

We were lucky to catch up with Tabitha Brogdon recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tabitha, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
Not to promote myself or books – below this 3-part series from my book summaries my personal journey and where my optimism comes from.

I kept a secret for 11 months and 6 days, that I was living alone with my 7-year-old and 11-month-old siblings. We were abandoned and I was just 15 years old! To provide for my siblings, I kept many secrets … BIG secrets…, until now! After opening the cabinets and realizing I only had 2 Ritz crackers left to feed myself and siblings, I eventually became a Ward of the State. I bounced in between 6 Caregivers and Foster Parents. As a teenager, I reclaimed my power and progressed from Foster Care, to college, to Corporate, to the Pulpit, to Business Ownership and Motivational Speaking! The trauma of the ride gets bumpy – but somehow, I buckled-up, and was determined to be focused and optimistic.

As an adult, I must share the repeated cycles of Marriages, Divorces, Domestic Violence. I faced some very difficult times and had to take a look at myself in the mirror. There comes a point when we all have to do an accountability and ownership check. And I realized that ‘The Middle’ was ALL on me. It was at this point in which I had to inspire myself to make every breathe count. I became very intentional to shift and create a life that I love.

Yes, I survived: childhood traumas, abandonment at age 15, cycles of Marriages and Divorces, and Domestic Violence. Life is truly not for the faint at heart.

I spend my time today, working in Corporate as the Head of HR, am the Pastor an online eChurch, with over 500 weekly viewers; and am a Certified Master Life Coach and Leadership Trainer. I am using these platforms to take my optimism and empower others and make a positive impact on this earth!

I truly believe that no matter what they have done or been thru, you CAN WIN. – I SAID IT! NO MATTER WHAT, you can win!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I spend my time today, working in Corporate as the Head of HR. I have extensive experience as an Executive Human Resources Management professional. With over 20 years history of creating, implementing, and supporting organizational objectives and steering strategic/operational activities.

I Pastor an online eChurch, TuesdayLive with Tab.
We come from ‘humble-beginnings’ that started when the world was literally on lock-down due to the Covid-pandemic and social unrest. At that time, 10-years deep in ministry, Elder Tab knew she had to do something, so she immediately took to social media that March of 2020, feeling a burden to check on people she did and didn’t know, by offering: love, laughs, and a safe place to apply God’s word and just be human. Shockingly, the weekly check-ins became a thing, that one of the viewers called: TuesdayLive with Tab! With a growing audience of 500+ weekly viewers across the USA and internationally, around the globe, ‘Pastor Tab’ realized God was doing something she never expected… He was using this TuesdayLive community of family, classmates, and friends to launch an eChurch! Everyone is welcome!

I am a Certified Master Life Coach and Leadership Trainer.
I am animated and engaging – and humbly, I empower leaders to lead!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. 1. Have a Positive Attitude – Own your Thought and Heart posture. Keep your head in the game!

2. Maintain a Strategic Focus – Be intentional in creating daily action items that work in your favor and GET THEM DONE!

3. Find the Joy of Helping Others – A kind word, a helping hand, an encouraging word, quality time – there are so many ways to help others. remember, it is a blessing to be a blessing.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
They taught me how to be strong and create a life that I love.
